Andie MacDowell is styled in a metallic trench coat for the cover, her naturally silver curls softly swept to the back of the neck, leaving an odd tendril. She continued: "There is no space for shame, no desire to be young or younger looking. (what a silly idea that is.)."

The longtime L'Oréal spokesperson stopped coloring her hair during the Covid-19 lockdown, something she had "wanted to do for a long time." She said last week that she is comfortable with where she is in her life right now: "I just want to embrace the time where I am…."

The "Sex, Lies, and a Videotape" actress laughed at the idea of "having to go on dates," explaining that it takes a lot of energy and she is swamped: "[I] feel like the most important aspect of my life right now is deep meaningful friendships. And my job."

Later in the interview, Andie MacDowell reiterated that she is not searching for a romantic relationship, which she attributes to the "shift that happens with age" of being fulfilled by different kinds of friendships.
