Lala Kent Celebrates 'The Most Magical' Daughter Ocean as She Turns 2

Lala Kent's daughter is now two years old. The reality TV star is celebrating her child's birthday as a single and grateful mother, following the events that threatened her daughter's life last year and the split from her fiancé the year before that.

Lala Kent's daughter, Ocean Kent, just turned two years old, and her mother could not be happier. Lala shared a series of photos and a video on Instagram in a post rejoicing about her daughter's growth thus far.

The very first image in her four-piece post shows Ocean dressed in a furry white jacket and with a similar-colored sweater underneath. Her outfit on what seemed like a wintry day was finished with black pants and a pair of white and black boots.

As seen above, the remaining slides on Lala's Instagram post show her adorable baby girl wearing a few more trendy outfits and a video of her dropping down a slide at a kids' playground. The actress wrote a touching caption, "You are my entire world & universe— my whole heart." She then continued:

"You are truly the most magical child. Anyone who has ever met you has experienced the pure joy that you are. I have said it before, and I will continue to say it; it is an honor to be your mom. Happy 2nd birthday, O. May you make waves always & forever. God bless you, baby girl."

Lala announced the birth of her daughter two years ago with an Instagram picture of herself lying in a hospital bed, gently holding the newborn. The actress and her then-fiancé, Randall Emmett, announced they were expecting a child in September 2019 during an episode of the podcast "Give Them Lala."

Lala, who spends a lot of time curating and sharing information on her podcast, made a shocking revelation in November last year. She divulged that her daughter, 19 months old at the time, began crying in her room, and her motherly instincts told her something was wrong.

Lala said Ocean was gasping for air when she got to the room, and that helped her realize immediately that her infant had a problem breathing. Shortly after that, Lala took her daughter to the ER at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and was later told that her daughter had croup, an illness caused by an infection to the uppermost part of the airway.

The actress was grateful that her daughter got the medical attention she needed, as croup threatens an infant's life. Lala, who was already split from Ocean's father then, said she did not want any more children and clarified, "there will not be a dude involved if I choose to have another baby."

As we have established, Ocean's parents are no longer together. When her mother was asked how she would reveal the alleged negative stories of her father's past to Ocean, Lala said she would explain things at an appropriate time. The actress added that it would be an honest and truthful conversation.

The truth she referenced in her answer is about her ex-fiance and his reported issues with infidelity. Randall is said to have cheated on Ocean's mother with several women before they split in October 2021. Aside from the drama in her relationship with Randall, Lala will have many stories to tell Ocean about her career.

She has starred in "Out of Death" with now-retired Bruce Willis, who lives in the care of his wife. Lala has also starred in "The Estate" with fellow actress Eliza Couple, who has suffered two divorces in her lifetime.
