Before the world had Gal Gadot gracing the screens as Wonder Woman, we had Lynda Carter portraying the iconic DC superhero. She stunned audiences with her thrilling performance, all the while building a blissful life for herself off-screen.

While settling the divorce of her failed first marriage to Ron Samuels, a Hollywood manager, Lynda met the man she would spend the next 37 years with. Lynda and Robert Altman's paths first crossed after she had already become the face of the crime-fighting figure and while Robert served as a lawyer in Washington, D.C.

Who Is Wonder Woman's Only Son?

Like his sister, James decided in his father's footsteps. He graduated from the George Washington University Law School — the same institution where his dad got his degree. Although he turned out to be an excellent lawyer, James initially didn't take to the idea.

James wanted to do something "different" with his life. Law school seemed too straightforward for him, but eventually, he tried to look at it from a new perspective, seeing it as an opportunity to learn more about life and meet "interesting" people.

James certainly had the opportunity to do something interesting with his life. His father started the video game publishing company ZeniMax Media and soon recruited his son to work for him. James assumed a senior role as the Director of Publishing Operations at their subsidiary, Bethesda.

It seems James and his dad shared a close bond. James shared a photo of him and Robert on Instagram in 2021 to commemorate his father's passing. In it, he penned, "Dad worked for over 20 years to get us to this point, and should have been here today. Raising a glass of champagne today, and toasting to him."
