After joining "White Lotus" in the second season, Imperioli became a star of the hit series. The actor admitted that his character is unfaithful romantically and easy to judge from a moral standpoint. Still, he believes that in the end, Dominic will check back in to repair the damage he caused.

Imperioli's character in "White Lotus" was quite controversial, but the role has given his career a second wind. The show's creator, Mike White, spoke about a possible return of the series and Imperioli's character after the finale to mend the damaged relationship with his wife, portrayed by "Jurassic Park" star Laura Dern.

Upon hearing about the possibility, the actor said he loved working with White, but he refuses to think about it too much, as he seemingly does not want his excitement to be met with disappointment.
