Andy Cohen's Fans Are Curious Why He Stopped Showing His Son's Face
Andy Cohen has recently shared a photo on Instagram that has confused his fans. The TV show host has welcomed two children via surrogacy and is confusingly conflicted in his decision not to show the older sibling's face.
The television host, personality, actor, and producer, Andy Cohen, widely recognized for hosting the "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" TV show, has recently shared a picture on Instagram that raised many eyebrows among his fanbase of 5.1 million followers on the social website.
Andy shared a picture of himself and his son Benjamin Allen Cohen at a beach resort on a bright undoubtedly. The post has surpassed 165 thousand likes in less than 24 hours, but the main talking point is the TV show host choosing to cover Benjamin's face with an emoji.
Andy's post has created concern among his social media content viewers about why he would cover his son's face. The TV show host clarified in his caption that he is aware of the confusion his photo editing creates. He wrote, "Happy Spring Break! (the emoji is odd, almost scary, I admit.. 🤷♂️)."
One fan questioned why Andy freely shares pictures and videos exposing the face of his daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen, and not Benjamins. Another perplexed made an almost audible exclamation in the comments, saying, "WHY DONT YOU SHOW US BEN. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT!!!!!"

Another fan expressed being unable to understand the situation. "I guess when they get older, you stop. I don't understand that," they concluded.
One user under the post shared a disgruntled comment about why Andy would Benjamin's face while he knows about the confusion. They continued, "You've posted so many videos of (ben) in so many pictures. It's actually absurd."
Just a year ago, the TV show host shared a picture of Benjamin delicately kissing Lucy's forehead. Andy posted another picture earlier that year on February 5, showing himself and Benjamin at the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Andy lives in the public eye, having made many appearances on TV. He has been on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," hosted by Evelyn McGee's husband, Stephen Colbert, ten times. He appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," hosted by Jimmy Fallon, whose daughter, like Benjamin, was born through surrogacy.
The recent confusion on whether Andy abstains from showing Benjamin's face comes after years of not holding back. An excellent example of this was Andy's exclusive visit from PEOPLE, speaking about his son's birth and permitting the publication to conduct Benjamin's first-ever photoshoot shortly after his birth.
The TV personality opened up with unfairly bullied actress Amy Schumer during a pandemic-style episode of his show about overturning their decision not to show their children on live television. They overturned their decision after the quarantine opened their minds to reveal the intimacy of family life.
If the change of heart that he had about sharing pictures of his children is anything to go by, it is understandable why Andy shares photos of his baby girl. He welcomed Lucy on April 29, 2022, in New York City, weighing eight lb and 13 oz.
"All surrogates are rockstars, by the way," Andy said after Lucy's birth. The TV host has been sharing pictures of Lucy since birth.
