Lindsay Lohan Celebrates 1st Wedding Anniversary with Bader Shammas in Sweet Post

Lindsay Lohan wished her husband of one year, Bader Shammas, a happy anniversary on April 3, 2023, via Instagram. This is the first time she mentioned the exact date of their secret nuptials on social media.

Unfortunately, Lindsay Lohan's wedding photos did not accompany the joyful post. A wide array of personalities congratulated the pair on their paper anniversary, from her sister Aliana Lohan to Christian Siriano, Paris Hilton, and Maye Musk.

The beaming couple is standing on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Monday's post, which one contingent in the comments suspected is in Ireland, while another thought it was Photoshopped.

The dual star of "Parent Trap" wears a bulky grey-scale camo jacket over denim, while her hubby is in a lightweight bomber jacket. It's unclear where they had their honeymoon, but they vacationed in Turkey in mid-2022.

The "Mean Girls" star casually referred to the financier as her spouse in a July 2, 2022, social media update proclaiming herself the luckiest woman in the world, "I am stunned that you are my husband."

Lohan announced her engagement to Shammas at the end of November 2021, uploading photos featuring her custom Harry Winston band. Page Six estimated the six-carat diamond ring to be worth $250,000.

Lohan was "blessed and excited" to share that she is expecting her first child with Shammas in mid-March. The parents-to-be met when the "Falling for Christmas" star relocated to Dubai in 2018 for a "fresh start."

Shammas' Instagram account, with 700-odd followers, is private as most details about his life. He hails from Kuwait City, Kuwait, and furthered his studies in the United States.

His LinkedIn profile says he studied mechanical engineering at the University of South Florida between 2007 and 2010. He remained a student until 2012 to complete a BSc in finance from the University of Tampa.

Bader Shammas build a career in finance at BNP Paribas Wealth Management and currently holds the position of assistant VP at Credit Suisse.

The pair have been mysterious since the early days of their courtship. The couple briefly became Instagram official on February 6, 2020, when Lohan mentioned hanging out with her "boyfriend Bader" in a quickly deleted photo of a group of friends and her sister.

By being based in the United Arab Emirates, away from the paparazzi that hounded Lindsay Lohan, the newlyweds have successfully managed to control the narrative around their family.
