Lindsay Lohan has started a new chapter in her life. She recently surprised fans with the news of her marriage after she called financier Bader Shammas her "husband" in an Instagram post. Here's everything you need to know about him.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has put her infamous past behind her as she crosses off one important life milestone after another. In November 2021, she announced her engagement to financier Bader Shammas.

Most recently, she disclosed that they were married after referring to Bader as her husband in a post honoring him. She described herself as "the luckiest woman in the world."

Paying tribute to Bader, Lindsay expressed disbelief that he was her husband. She added that he is "my life and my everything." In February, Lindsay opened up about her wedding plans, saying that she was into low-key weddings and that she was looking at destinations.

With Lindsay seeming to live her best life now, one cannot help but be curious about the man making her happy. Who exactly is Bader Shammas?

Bader is a financier who is currently employed by the banking firm Credit Suisse as an Assistant Vice President. He was an associate at BNP Paribas Wealth Management in the past.

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of South Florida. He also completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from John H. Sykes College of Business.

Because Bader is such a private person, there is not much information available about him. According to his Instagram profile, the dashing heartthrob has only 38 posts.

Unlike Lindsay who has 11 million Instagram followers, Bader only has nearly 900 followers. Even though he has social media accounts, he keeps them private, driving away curious fans.

According to reports, Bader and Lindsay dated for about two years before getting engaged. The couple has kept their relationship under wraps, with the exception of a few social media posts by Lindsay.

In February 2020, the "Freaky Friday" star shared on social media a photo of herself hanging out with members of the band Bastille during a music festival in Dubai.

In the caption, she referred to Bader, who was seen in the photo next to her, as her boyfriend. She looked happy and in love, far from the unflattering paparazzi photos that rocked her life during her turbulent times in the States.

Bader and Lindsay are reportedly living out their best lives together in Dubai, where the "Falling for Christmas" star has also been residing for several years.

The "Parent Trap" actress gushed about Dubai, her favorite country. She said her new home has given her the privacy she has always desired and enabled her to concentrate on being productive.

Lindsay's family has given Bader their blessing. He was seen hanging out with Lindsay and her sister Ali Lohan as early as February 2020 during the abovementioned rock concert in Dubai.

According to a since-deleted Instagram post, Lindsay captioned that the rock concert was a lovely night as she spent it with her gorgeous sister and her beau, Bader.

Lindsay's father, Michael, also approved of Bader. He previously expressed his pride in all his daughter has accomplished and his joy at seeing his daughter so happy with Bader. The proud dad said:

"Based on what has been released by Lindsay so far, all I'll say is that I'm so happy for her and Balor [Bader] and proud of all she's doing in life. God Bless them."

Lindsay's younger brother, Dakota, also expressed support for the couple, calling them "best friends" in a comment on Lindsay's Instagram post announcing her engagement to Bader.

Lindsay has apparently moved on and decided to give love another try after a previous engagement turned into a nightmare. She was previously engaged to Egor Tarabasov, a Russian business heir.

Unfortunately, their relationship eventually fizzled out, and they broke up in 2017. It was a rocky period in Lindsay's life as she accused Egor of being physically abusive toward her.

Their messy split saw Egor vehemently refuting allegations of abuse and accusing Lindsay of orchestrating a "smear campaign" against him to damage his reputation.
