Born on April 5, 1986, and following in her legendary father's footsteps, Charlotte Flair became a wrestling champion. She was named after the city she was born in, Charlotte, North Carolina, and grew up competing as a gymnast, landing a career for herself in wrestling and as a personal trainer.

Charlotte means much to the wrestling world and even more to her father, Ric Flair. Today she celebrates her 37th birthday, and Ric shared a post on Instagram celebrating her life and his pride in being her father.

Ric wished the 14-time WWE Women's Champion a happy birthday with a photo collage. In the photos, Ric's followers saw pieces of their relationship in front of the lights and cameras, pictures of Charlotte as a child, and some more representitive of the 37-year-old being herself.

In true Nature Boy style, Ric detailed his love for the lady of the moment in the caption. He wrote, "Happy Birthday To My Beautiful Daughter @charlottewwe! You Stole The Show Again! I Love You More Than Anything! WOOOOO! 🙏🏻❤️💪🏻."

Charlotte is not a shadow of her father's greatness as she has climbed the ranks of WWE, literally carving a path for herself with her strength. One aspect of her competitiveness that sets her apart is her high athleticism, barely seen before her breakthrough in 2014 and scarcely mimicked after.

After defeating Natalya in the May 29 eight-woman tournament, Charlotte became the NXT Women's Champion and opened a path into the high-octane entertainment world that RAW is. She boasts a big chunk of the responsibility for the evolution of women's representation in the WWE.

Her remarkable record details her back-to-back defending of the RAW Women's Championship title with a pay-per-view win streak exceeding 16 challenges. She is also one of the inaugural female pay-per-view primary event challengers. Charlotte is notably the most accoladed woman in WWE history.

Charlotte is one of Ric's three children. She has an older sister named Megan Fliehr Ketzner and an older brother named David Fliehr. Her sister, Megan, enjoys life away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and is known to be the quietest and steady of the wrestling legend's children.

Charlotte's brother, David, has also dabbled in the wrestling world despite his childhood dreams of becoming a police officer. He competed in WCW for two years and moved to WWE afterward. His stay was short-lived, as he abandoned his wrestling dreams in 2002. Ric also had a son named Reid Fliehr, who died in 2013.

Recently Charlotte has shared some pictures of herself on social media. Although many fans are in awe of her majestic form, others are drawn to the size of her feet.
