JoJo Siwa Shows off Weight Loss in Recent Photos after Focusing on Her Health for a Year

On Wednesday JoJo Siwa gave her 11.4 million Instagram followers a condensed eight-slide update of recent events in her life, which she shares more regularly on TikTok and Snapchat.

JoJo Siwa's fun snaps displayed her athletic physique in the mirror selfies, her modeling a designer jacket, a fast-paced dance routine, on a coffee run, and at a climbing gym.

The "JoJo's Dance Pop Revolution" host broke her resolve about "progress photos" on December 31, 2022, to post an extreme close-up selfie that showed a drop of sweat on her brow and the second showing her washboard abs in the bathroom light.

Though this kind of content generally makes Siwa uncomfortable, she wrote, "After a year of putting tons of focus on my physical health, I am soooo proud of the muscle/strength I've gained!!"

This week she posted the first hint of romance on TikTok since her split from Avery Cyrus.

The "Dancing With The Stars" season thirty runner-up admitted that she still looks like the first image every day, having to work up a sweat to build and maintain her muscle tone and slimmed-down figure.

Being the first "DWTS" contestant to compete with a professional dancer of the same sex is not the only feather in Siwa's cap after the show. In November 2022, she told HollywoodLife that her body and mind had changed since partnering with Jenna Johnson in the TV dance competition.

Johnson had noticed how uncertain the teenager was about her body and "broke down a wall" for Siwa to quietly build up a physical strength the pop star did not process before. The "Every Girl's a Super Girl" hitmaker said, "Jenna has transformed my body." In addition, she dropped a few dress sizes.

The 19-year-old does not spend all her time in the gym and dance studio. This week she posted the first hint of romance on TikTok since her split from Avery Cyrus in December 2022. She ended the on-again-off-again relationship with Kylie Prew for good in August of that same year.

The video slideshow, set to Stephen Sanchez's "Until I Found You," points to a new relationship, showing cookies her "precious girl" surprised her with and the dancer wearing a jacket the mystery person got her. The TikTok ends with a JoJo Siwa holding someone's hand, captioned, "Heart is happy."
