‘Leave Her Alone’: Fans Defend Bridget Fonda after She’s Labeled ‘Unrecognizable’ in Recent Outing
Over the weekend, photos of retired actress Bridget Fonda, deeming her as "unrecognizable," was published. Her old fans won't have any of it.
Bridget Fonda, who is part of the Fonda acting dynasty inadvertently started by her late grandfather Henry Fonda, was caught by paparazzi as she arrived at LA International Airport with her son in tow, dressed in a casual ensemble.
Having steered clear of the media, she was previously spotted in a parking lot in 2022, and the images then were also used to show a contrast between the then and now.
A flabbergasted fan said, "I am seriously struggling with this! I can't even see her in the recent picture. " Another agreed, "They don't even have the same nose, plus her skin tone is off to me. Looks very unhealthy."
Public speaker and activist David Challen denounced the "sexist" narrative by posting screenshots of two Daily Mail articles published just over a year apart and stated, "People age; let her get on with her life. "
"She is wearing comfy clothes while going about doing her errands. Bridget Fonda is human like the rest of us!! Leave her alone," a fan responded.
"Just leave Bridget Fonda alone already. Geez, " another person tweeted. "Bridget Fonda is aging as a normal person; leave her alone," a fan echoed.
Bridget Fonda starred in 90's hits.
An admirer put the situation into context, "WHAT WE'RE NOT GOING TO DO IS SHAME QUEEN BRIDGET FONDA. She's incredible, and she said 'peace out' to Hollywood, and I RESPECT IT. She is living her life how she wants to."
Bridget Fonda Enjoys Being A "Civilian"
Paparazzi stayed on Jane Fonda's niece's trail this week, and photos of her at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with her 18-year-old son got published on Monday, April 17, 2023. Bridget remained courteous while having her privacy invaded, even answering if she would return to acting:
"I don't think so; it's too nice being a civilian."
Bridget Fonda starred in 90's hits such as "Single White Female," "Singles," and "Jackie Brown" opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Robert De Niro.
Following a car accident, from which she fully recovered, the daughter of Susan Brewer and "Easy Rider" star Peter Fonda retired from acting to raise her son with her husband, composer Danny Elfman. They have lived on a Santa Barbara ranch since 2020.
