Emily Compagno has garnered a sizeable following as a T.V. journalist, but the "Outnumbered" co-host also excels as an attorney. In addition to what has been a rewarding career, Compagno also found love with Pete Riley; however, she has remained incredibly private about their relationship.

Little about Emily Compagno's background is known, but the correspondent graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington. She then attained her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Compagno was an active student at both institutions; at the University of Washington, she received the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet of the Quarter Award. And while studying at the University of San Francisco, she became the President of the school's Federalist Society.

She was also the Editor of the school's newspaper, the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin. Compagno started practicing law in 2006 but diversified her career, even serving as cheer captain for the NFL's Oakland Raiders. And while her accomplishments indeed speak for themselves, so do her husband's.

Pete Riley Is Emily Compagno's Husband

Much like his wife, Pete Riley is a private person. At the time of writing, he didn't appear to have any social media pages besides his LinkedIn profile, and no posts on Compagno's social media timelines featured him. Riley attained a B.A. in Political Science and Communications in 2000 after graduating from Seattle Preparatory School in 1996.

He began working as an Account Executive and House Values, Inc., in 2001 and moved on to Cisco Systems in 2003. Riley climbed the company's ladder for over 12 years, beginning as an Associates Sales Representative. His final position at Cisco Systems, which he held between 2010 and 2015, was Account Manager.

Riley then served as Major Account Manager for the following five years at Palo Alto Networks and has held the same title at Netskope since 2021. It's unknown when he and Compagno began dating, but some reports say they've known each other since they were teens. They reportedly met again in 2016 and eloped the following year.

Their special day was captured by Jos and Tree photographers in Ravello, Italy. The company released their wedding photos on its website in September 2017. It revealed a few details about Compagno and Riley's elopement, saying it was one of the "most unique and meaningful weddings."

The images showed Riley and Compagno in their wedding attire, with Riley sporting a black tux and Compagno wearing a stunning gown with floral lace detail. After tying the knot, the couple celebrated with champagne, took a ride on a Vespa, and enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant.

People Are Wondering If Emily Compagno Is Still Married

Although it is generally known that Compagno is married, having even mentioned her husband on-air, fans have recently wondered if she's still married. In 2019, she shared a good-hearted encounter with a young "lad" who proposed to her with a candy ring.

"I had to inform him despite the alluring size (& taste!) of the ring, I was already married & likely three times his age," she joked. Three years later, in July 2022, a Twitter user commented on her colleagues — likely her "Outnumbered" co-hosts — joking about setting Compagno up with Irina Shayk's ex-lover, Bradley Cooper.

The user also observed that Compagno hadn't worn her wedding ring in a "very long time." However, in recent posts, the wedding band could still be seen on her left hand. Compagno — who has guarded her personal life like fellow T.V. journalists Gillian Turner, Jedediah Bila, and Tucker Carlson — is yet to address the speculation.
