NFL star quarterback Cam Newton is well known for his exploits on the football field, but he is proudest of his seven children and plans to have more.

Cam Newton, the man who stepped into the shoes of Tom Brady for the New England Patriots after his retirement, is prouder of his children than anything else he has accomplished in his life.

Newton shares four children with Kia Proctor and one with La Reina Shaw. He revealed that he would always be there for the mothers of his children and his seven children.

When Proctor met Newton, she was already the mother of a little girl, and Newton accepted Shakira as his own.

The NFL player explained that he considers the two children from his two baby momma's previous relationships as his and that he loves them as much as his biological kids.

Cam Newton Loves the Mothers of His Children Dearly

Newton loves his seven children and wants to have more -- but not necessarily with the same women. He revealed in a 2022 interview:

"I have two baby mommas, and I still love them dearly, but I'm ready for them to move on because I'm moving on."

Newton confided that when his children with Kia Proctor were born, he was very young and not ready to be a good husband. He admitted that he was selfish and yielded to temptations.

The children who hold Newton's heart are Jaden, Shakira, Chosen, Sovereign-Dior, Camidas, Caesar, and Cashmer, and he confessed that it saddened him to have missed out on so much of their childhood because of the demands of his career.

Cam Newton Had 4 Children with a Kia Proctor

Chosen Sebastian Newton is Newton's first child with Kia Proctor, and he was born in 2015, and Newton announced his son's birth on Twitter, writing:

“My longtime girlfriend and I were extremely blessed to have a son last week. Our family is excited, and thank you all for the well wishes!”

In December 2016, Newton's parents let the cat out of the bag and announced that their son and Proctor were expecting their second child together.

In February 2007, Kia Proctor and Newton welcomed their second child, Sovereign-Dior Newton, a pretty baby girl, but the couple only revealed her name in April 2017.

A year later, in July 2018, little Sovereign-Dior got herself a baby brother, Camidas Swain Newton. Proctor posted an adorable snap of the baby on Instagram and shared his name.

But Camidas wasn't the baby of the family for long. In May 2019 Proctor, who already had a daughter from a previous relationship, Shakira, shared a photo of herself on Instagram and captioned it:

"Blessed ❤️#anotherone #momof5."

To clarify, Proctor shared another photo of herself cradling a substantial baby bump. The new baby Newton was born in October 2019, and his name is Cashmere Saint Newton.

When Proctor met Newton she was already the mother of a little girl, and Newton accepted Shakira as his own. He would state:

“Being a dad comes from the heart. Anybody can make a baby, but it takes a real man to raise a child."

Newton confessed that the first time Shakira called him "daddy" he was terrified by the responsibility, and she helped him become a more determined and responsible man.

Shakira was five years old when Newton started dating Proctor, and she is clearly the apple of his eye. She is frequently featured in videos on Newton's channel, and he describes her as a unique child.

Shakira has repeatedly appeared in videos on the Cam Newton channel. Newton cooked breakfast for his "Princesses," Shakira and Sovereign-Dior, on Valentine's Day in 2021 to show them how a man in their life should treat them.

Cam Newton Had a Child with Another Woman

Shortly after Cashmere's birth, in January 2020, Newton and Proctor's relationship fell apart when it was revealed that he had fathered a son with another woman.

The boy was born on July 4, 2019, and was named Caeser Lorenzo Newton. Newton acknowledged his son in an Instagram post on his first birthday, writing:

"I have grown so much with you being here on this earth, and I am constantly reminded what my purpose, discipline, and drive isareThank you, son."

Newton admitted that he had hurt Proctor and jeopardized his family's welfare by having a relationship with another woman. However, he refused to have a hidden child, so he acknowledged Caesar no matter the cost to his image.

Cam Newton Welcomed La Reina Shaw's Son into His Family

Little Caesar was born into Newton's relationship with Instagram model La Reina Shaw, who is just a few months older than his half-brother Cashmere.

The revelation that he had fathered a son with another woman didn't just destroy Newton's relationship with Proctor, it started a scandal. Newton confessed that he had to learn to deal with criticism and stop caring about what others said.

Shaw adores her oldest son and often shares photos of him and boasts about his accomplishments. Jaden has his own YouTube channel and shares streams about gaming, but his Instagram account is private.
