Scarlett Johansson's Siblings Are also Actors & She Is Close to all of Them
Scarlett Johansson's talented siblings have showcased their skills in the film industry, proving that talent runs in the family. The "Black Widow" star has a close bond with all her siblings, especially her twin brother, who the actress revealed reminds her to be "a better person."
From "Lucy" to "Avengers: Endgame" and "Black Widow," Scarlett has spent many years on the Hollywood acting scene and has risen to stardom for her award-winning performances.
She is one of five close-knit, New York-born siblings who have ventured into the film industry. And while some of the actress's brothers and her sister have tried their hand at writing, acting, directing, and cinematography, they all have proven talent runs in the family.

Scarlett's Twin Brother Reminds Her to Be a Better Person
Scarlett and her twin brother, Hunter, were born on November 22, 1984, in Manhattan, New York City. The actress revealed that while she is close with all of her siblings, she and her twin share a "unique bond" as they have always been by each other's side.
Even before they were born, she sentimentally added, they have shared a strong relationship that affects how they move in the world on an individual level. Although they are the same age, Scarlett admires her twin, looks up to him, and once shared:
"If there is a truly altruistic person I know in my life, it's my brother. He reminds me to be a better person all the time. I'm incredibly proud of him."

Off camera, Hunter is the founder of Solar Responders, an organization that provides aid for first responders after natural disasters and other emergencies.
With the help of his twin sister and her fiancé Colin Jost, Hunter's group builds solar panels at stations for first responders. One of Hunter's projects included building solar panels in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria wiped out the power grid.

Scarlett Is Close With All Her Siblings
During an interview in March 2023, Scarlett revealed, "I'm very close with all my siblings," even though she has been the most open about her relationship with Hunter. Aside from appearing at public events with her twin, the actress supports his organization and once held a fundraiser at the charity site Omaze.
For the Los Angeles premiere of "Black Widow," Scarlett offered one fan the opportunity to be her VIP guest in partnership with Omaze. The actress never fails to gush about Hunter, and once she said, "He's very pragmatic—he takes the time to make sure the work he's doing is efficient."

All of Scarlett's Siblings Also Work in Entertainment Industry
Hunter's only acting credit came in 1996, where he landed a minor role alongside his twin sister in the film, "Manny & Lo." Between 2014 and 2020, while he wasn't acting, he appeared in front of the camera again for "Entertainment Tonight."
Her brother, Christian, is a man of many trades, as his career includes writing, cinematography, and other opportunities behind the camera. He dipped his toes into the film industry in 1997 as part of the additional crew for "Sven."

A few years later, he returned to show business with a bang after he wrote, worked as a lighting technician, and was responsible for the cinematography for the short "Skallgång."
Adrian, born on November 3, 1976, in New York City, is another Johansson family member in film. His acting journey began in 1999 when he played Eric in the short "Red Light August." By 2001, Adrian was cast for another project: he played a character of the same name in the action/drama directed by Katherine Lindberg, "Rain."
By the late 2000s, he had ventured into voice acting. He was one of the voices in the video game "Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned" in 2009 and "Red Dead Redemption" in 2010.

Vanessa Johansson, the second Johansson sister, is both an actress and a director. Born on January 12, she is older than Scarlett and started acting when she played Sarah in the horror movie "Skavengers."
She also shared the silver screen with her family in "Manny & Lo." The movie featured Scarlett as one of the main cast and also cast Hunter, their mother, and father. In 2007, Vanessa voiced Sora in "Battle of Terra."

Vanessa kept busy in 2008, as she featured in three films: "Shark in Venice," "The Objective," and "Day of the Dead" alongside Nick Cannon. After playing a news anchor in "Deal O'Neal" in 2010, she added a second voice acting credit to her résumé in 2016 when she featured in the English version of "The Snow Queen 3: Fire and Ice."
She tried her hand at directing in 2020 when she directed, wrote, and appeared in the short "Screen Time." Her most recent credit happened in 2023 when she voiced the Nameless Militia Soldier 10 on the English version of the video game "Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty."

Scarlett Has Walked the Red Carpet Several Times with Twin Brother
Scarlett and Hunter have proved how close they are for years, as he has often been his sister's date to red-carpet appearances. While speaking about being a twin, Scarlett said:
"You've never been alone. Even in utero, you've always had this other soul—this other person—with you."

They were just kids when they attended the launch party of the Nintendo GameCube at 60 Spring Street in New York City in 2001. In 2005, Hunter supported his sister and her career at the Golden Globes and looked dapper in a black suit and bowtie while his sister opted for a stunning, figure-hugging strapless dress.
Fast forward a few years, and Scarlett Johansson was a few months postpartum after welcoming her first child when the actress walked the carpet with her twin at the Hurricane Sandy Benefit in New York in 2014.
