James Norton's future wife, Imogen Poots, is a talented actor in her own right. Though both stars have acclaimed careers and have featured in some of the biggest movies, they prefer to keep their romance under wraps.
James Norton is a London-born film, television, and stage actor. He is best known for starring in shows such as "Grantchester," "The Nevers," the BBC miniseries "War & Peace" and "Happy Valley." His performance in the latter earned him a nomination for the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2015.
He has also appeared in several major films, including "Little Women" and "Mr. Jones" and various theater productions. Set to portray Jude in the stage version of Hanya Yanagihara's "A Little Life" in 2023, the actor's star continues to rise, prompting curiosity about his love life.

James Norton's Relationship with His 'War and Peace' Co-star Jessie Buckley Ended with a Painful Breakup
The actor, who has reportedly been known for striking up relationships with his co-stars, has been romantically linked to actresses Eleanor Wyld and Lizzie Crarer. However, his most recognized relationship was with actress Jessie Buckley.
Buckley is an actress famous for her roles in the movies "I'm Thinking of Ending Things," "Beast," and "Women Talking." She met Norton while they were playing brother and sister in the BBC's adaptation of "War & Peace" in 2015 and made their first public outing as a couple at the after-party for Norton's West End play "Bug" in 2016.

But Buckley and Norton's romance was short-lived, and the couple split in 2017. The actress confirmed their breakup was painful:
"It was acrimonious, but it's a tough job to have a relationship, and he is a great man, and we are great friends."
After their breakup, the actress moved on yet refused to reveal the identity of her new partner. In 2021, she had been dating someone for a while, and even though she refused to talk about her relationship, she hinted they might be moving to Norfolk together.

James Norton Is Engaged: Get To Know His Future Wife, Imogen Poots
Norton didn't stay single for too long and started dating actress Imogen Poots after splitting up with Buckley. Norton and Poots met when they starred together in Belleville at the Donmar Theater in 2017 and made their red-carpet debut at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
Poots is no stranger to the spotlight herself. She had her big break at 17 in the horror film "28 Weeks Later" and has since appeared in several dozens of movies, among which "Vivarium," "A Country Called Home," and "Green Room" and shows like "Roadies," "Outer Range" and "I Know This Much Is True."
In February 2022, after four years of dating, Norton proposed to Poots. The couple was allegedly "over the moon about their engagement" and tried to keep it as private as possible.

James Norton and Imogen Poots Try to Keep Their Romance Away from the Public Gaze
Norton and Poots had a long-distance relationship for several years due to their busy work schedules, yet they managed to keep their love strong. Poots famously said: "I've never known something to fall apart because of distance."
Norton also confirmed that having a partner in the industry helps deal with separation periods. In 2020, they decided to take their relationship further and moved in together.
Norton and Poots are notoriously private about their love life and are only pictured together on rare occasions. Both have shied away from social media. The actress once shared her concern about it:
"I'm not a fan because I'm seeing what it's doing to the generation below me, and that's really sad with mental health."
Nevertheless, the couple has occasionally shared adorable snapshots of each other over the years, giving fans a tiny peek into their private world.
