Kingsley Ben-Adir's Girlfriend Supports His Career

As an actor, Ben-Adir adheres to a busy schedule and can spend months away from home filming on location. During a 2019 interview, he explained how it influenced his personal life when he snagged a role on "The OA," and said:

"I mentioned to my girlfriend that I was filming a show because she needed to know. [...] She got to come up once, but yeah. Part of the job, eh?"

"The OA" premiered in 2016 and ended in 2019, following the story of a girl who went missing for seven years and returned in her 20s. Once blind, she came back with her sight fixed. Some saw her return as a miracle, while others worried she would bring misfortune.

Ben-Adir was once joined by a mysterious blonde woman during the 65th BFI London Film Festival in England in 2021 and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in 2022.

Kingsley Ben-Adir Shares His Thoughts on Relationships

While Ben-Adir doesn't share about his girlfriend, he has shared his thoughts about relationships. According to the actor, his show, "Soulmates," can make viewers question relationships, such as the definition of a soulmate. When asked if he would take the show's love test, Ben-Adir said:

"I say no, and then I think it would shift from week to week, month to month, and year to year, depending on where you were at in your life and who you're with, and what particular point you might be in your relationship."

Facts about Kingsley Ben-Adir

Before becoming the actor he is today, Ben-Adir struggled to get through school and was almost dismissed during his high school years. However, he was able to sort things out before the worst-possible scenario could happen. He called this a turning point in his life as a teen.

He later went to drama school, where he developed his talent. Despite equipping himself with the necessary tools to become an actor, things didn't always go well for Ben-Adir. Once before, he faced rejection mid-way through an audition when the casting director told him it wasn't working well for him.

It wasn't until his "One Day in Miami" role that his career changed forever. Ben-Adir also appeared in "High Fidelity" and "Love Life," where he learned to take roles that he made interesting. For "High Fidelity," he played a man emotionally available and vulnerable to love alongside Zoe Kravitz.
