Hamish Linklater is a talented actor who is romantically involved with another Hollywood star. Being in a long-term relationship with actress Lily Rabe, the couple keeps their life together low-key.
However, it turns out the couple is not married and are in a committed relationship. Not only that, but the lovebirds are also esteemed Shakespearean actors.
Linklater and Rabe were first cast alongside each other in 2010, portraying the roles of Portia and Bassanio in the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of "The Merchant of Venice."

The Tony Award-nominated actress and the Massachusetts native had met a few times before co-starring in "Merchant." They crossed paths in 2006 when Linklater appeared in "The Busy World Is Hushed."
He played opposite Rabe's mother, actress Jill Clayburgh and had previously played her son in a television pilot. But it was Linklater and Rabe's first opportunity to work together in "Merchant."

Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe share two children. They subtly announced they were expecting their first child in December 2016.
The couple had walked the red carpet at the 2016 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. when Rabe stunned in a pink gown with a ruffled trim and posed with one hand resting on her visible baby bump.
The "American Horror Story" star announced the arrival of the duo's first child, a daughter, in March 2017 on her Instagram. She posted a snapshot of her snuggling up to the infant.
"Happy International Women's Day. Today. Tomorrow. Every day. Girls are magic," Rabe captioned her post. While this was her first baby, it was the second for her partner Linklater.
His firstborn is his daughter Lucinda Rose, whom he welcomed with his former wife, playwright Jessica Goldberg.
In August 2020, his current partner hinted they were expecting their second child. Rabe posted a picture of herself cradling her growing baby bump.
It turned out they had already welcomed the newest addition to the family in June of that year. In June 2022, Rabe posted a black and white image of her boyfriend and baby on Instagram and wrote, "To the best there is."
It turns out she and Linklater secretly welcomed their third child together (much like fellow actor Richard Gere and his wife). This cryptic post was shared on Father's Day. They have yet to reveal the name and sex of their new family member.
