"May 9th 2014, I birthed this little guy at home via water birth (using the aquadoula birthing tub [...] I've been blessed, mashallah, to have 2 really easy pregnancies and births."

Dreka further revealed they had a plant-based lifestyle and kept the chemicals out of their home by using all-natural products for everything, including skincare and cleaning products.

Wanting to keep things natural, the couple, who has been together for several years, refused medical attention. After Dreka did her research and experienced a near-death experience at the hands of doctors, she did not want to have their children's lives in someone else's hands. She said:

"If you breastfeed your kids, that's actually where they're supposed to get their first vaccinations from [...] My kids have been out of the country, and they haven't had any vaccinations, and they haven't had all problems."

Dreka claimed they had healthy children who have not had problems despite leaving the country. She remarked that they might get allergies or colds from the weather but nothing more.

Khaza Kamil Gates Is Not an Only Child

Khaza Kamil Gates is the youngest of two children. On November 30, 2012, Kevin and Dreka welcomed their firstborn, Islah Koren Gates. Like Khaza, Islah is also her father's happiness. The talented singer even dedicated a major-label debut to her, naming the album "Islah." Islah in Arabic means "to make better."

Years later, Kevin released an album named after his son, Khaza, which became controversial for its gruesome lyrics. Khaza, in Arabic, means "treasure."
