The former NBA champ slipped on an oversized black tee with a big and bold "Live & Love" print on the back. He paired it with a green plaid mini-skirt with pleats and a hem way above his knees. He finished his overall look by wearing a cap backward and white sneakers with a rainbow accent.

His outfit garnered mixed reactions from fans, some of them seemingly disappointed. One user wrote, "Instant respect loss and unfollow."

Another user expressed disappointment by saying, "Now I unfollowed you because of this. Im your big fan I even have you picture on my phone lockscreen and phone case."

Other supporters pointed out that this stint was nothing new for the basketball great. One follower noted, "Dennis Rodman has been like this since the 90s idk why y'all are surprised, let the man live." While another defended Rodman, clarifying that he's not gay.

The media sensation, who was previously married to Carmen Electra, had shown his flamboyant style over the years. In 1996, while promoting his memoir "Bad As I Wanna Be," he appeared in a horse-drawn carriage wearing a wedding dress to marry himself, claiming he was bisexual.

The year prior, in 1995, he attended the 15th MTV Awards in a sparkly top and low-hung jeans. He also rocked full-on makeup while attending the 69th Academy Awards Vanity Fair Party.

He then dyed his hair and once sported an HIV/AIDS ribbon in a televised playoff game. "At the time, that was borderline revolutionary for an American pro athlete," Rodman's memoir co-author Tim Keown said.
