Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman, 70, has taken to Instagram to reveal he recently discovered he fathered a son named Jon. The revelation carries particular weight as Jon's birthday falls on the same date that marks the passing of Chapman's late wife, Beth Chapman.

Previously a day of sorrow, Chapman now views the date with a sense of renewal and joy. The reality star shared a heartfelt picture of Jon and his wife, Jodi, with his followers, promising to discuss more about Jon in his upcoming memoir, 'Nine Lives and Counting', set to release soon.

In his post, Chapman imparted a message of hope, highlighting God's ability to restore and redeem in times of loss, and wished his newfound son a happy birthday.

While Duane Chapman did allude to his deep sense of loss, he failed to specifically commemorate Beth on the anniversary of her demise, a detail that didn't slip his ardent fans.
