Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announced welcoming their 4th child last week, but the update left some fans terribly confused.
"4 people I made (with lots of help from other people, lol)," Chrissy Teigen captioned a carousel of all four of her kids on June 2, 2023. "I love them so much I could explode into 1 million pieces."
"Wow, did u guys adopt this sweetie in picture one?" a well-wisher enquired. "When did you have another? How did I miss this???" one fan wrote on Sunday, while another tried to figure out the math, "4? I thought they had 3."

The "Cravings" author shared the birth of their son on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in a detailed history of their pregnancy journey, beginning with how she always wanted four kids.
Wren Alexander Stephens was born just before midnight on June 19, 2023, via a surrogate who has become close to the family. Chrissy had given birth via C-section in January to Esti Maxine Stephens.
Two months after Esti's birth, Chrissy spoke about her work with the Cord Blood Registry and being a mom of three to multiple publications but did not mention their fourth tot on the way.

She said that going for two to three kids was "easy confidence-wise," explaining that she's not entirely on edge and cares less what others say. "Two was hard," she admitted:
"But three is comically difficult because you're so outnumbered, and it's so ridiculous."
