Social media users have analyzed Meghan Trainor's features over the years and claimed to have noticed a change. And while some users believed the singer had undergone plastic surgery, others were not as convinced.

Meghan Trainor Admitted to Having Problems Loving Herself Earlier on in Her Career

Following the release of her breakthrough hit "All About That Bass" in 2014, Trainor has candidly spoken about body image and her struggles with having grown up "chubby." In 2015, the singer revealed that she hated how she looked in photos and was always quick to point out what she didn't like about her physical appearance.

However, after a fan approached her in tears and told the singer that her music helped her feel "pretty again," Trainor shared that something "resonated" with her. She has since learned to love her body and said:

"I want to run and keep up with my kid. I want to be able to put on a bathing suit and run out there and not be in my head about it [...]. I'm just going to keep going and do this for my younger self."

Meghan Trainor's Son Inspired Her Weight Loss after She Admitted to Being in a 'Dark Place'

During an interview, Trainor revealed that she lost 60 pounds after giving birth to her first son. Following her pregnancy, the singer, whose parents are Kelli and Gary Trainor, said she was at her heaviest at 200 pounds and in a "dark place."

But through dedication and hard work, the singer lost weight by exercising, understanding portion control, and eating healthily. However, Trainor admitted it took her some time to accept her new body with all its stretch marks and scars.

"I guess that was tough to get over," she said. And with the help of her husband, Daryl Sabara, who reminded Trainor that her scars and marks were "gorgeous" and "beautiful," the singer was able to get "over it."

Trainor also maintained her healthy lifestyle during her second pregnancy and shared a video of herself breaking a sweat in the gym while still heavily pregnant.

Fans Were Not Convinced Meghan Trainor Had Plastic Surgery

Last year, social media users debated whether or not the singer had plastic surgery, and most were convinced she had not. One user wrote:

"You know, I think it's really cool that she kept the same look. To me, this doesn't read as someone who's trying to be someone else. It's someone who wants to look their best in a way that flatters their natural appearance."

Social media users also attributed Meghan Trainor's slight change in appearance to her different makeup looks and aging process. Other users suggested that her weight loss must have played a role in her transformation.
