B Simone Publicly Courted Rapper DaBaby
Simone began publicly courting DaBaby in late 2019. Among her earliest expressions of affection was a now-deleted post where she offered to be the stepmother of the rapper's children, saying, "I been practicing and everything."
She then threw a Halloween party and donned a wedding dress as DaBaby's bride. She had a human-sized cardboard cutout of the rapper wearing a black tux as part of her costume. During the party, the faux bride also threw a bouquet at a group of women.
She documented the party's main events on Instagram, captioning the post, "Happy Halloween from the KIRKS [...]." Kirks is DaBaby's real last name. DaBaby eventually responded, "If she don't love me like [B. Simone] love me I can't [expletive] with her. (sic)"
At this point, fans were invested to see if the pair would become romantically involved. Their hopes were raised when a video of DaBaby and Simone cozying up at a club went viral. The speculation continued when she posted a photo of herself hugging a mystery man.
Celebrities including NeNe Leaks and Sevyn Streeter were among many who were surprised, but netizens recognized the man's hand tattoos and quickly ruled that it was, in fact, DaBaby. As it turned out, the photo was intended to promote the rapper's forthcoming song "Find My Way."
The courting continued on Nick Cannon's "Wild 'n' Out," but things eventually turned sour with singer DaniLeigh, the mother of one of DaBaby's children, getting involved. She alleged DaBaby was messaging Simone behind her back.

They kept their relationship relatively private, only showing glimpses now and then. In July, however, Simone posted a clip showing off her hair, which she captioned, "Single [...]." The reason for their split remains unknown.
Smith is no longer around to share his side, as the former defense end passed away earlier in 2023. The cause of his death wasn't disclosed, but many took to social media to express their condolences, including Drew Rosenhaus.
B Simone Once Spoke about a Former Flame that Broke Her Heart
On the debut episode of Simone and Megan's podcast "Know For Sure," Simone opened up about a former flame — whose identity she kept secret — who had broken her heart after he cheated. After discovering the infidelity, she called and confronted him.
"He never admitted to it; he never apologized," she recalled. Looking back at the relationship, she said she was glad to have walked away, as difficult as it was. In April 2023, she shared that she was committing more to her faith.
"My prayer is that you seek a relationship with Jesus Christ for yourself. The moment I chose to, He blew my mind, and quick," she wrote. She understood that cultivating a relationship was an active choice to love, and that's what she intended to do with Jesus Christ.
