'That Color Is You': Linda Purl Loves Colorado Life & Defies Age in a Golden Top with Plunging Neckline
If one of the hashtags she used is anything to go by, Linda Purl is living her best life in Colorado, and her social media following agree that the recent soap star shines bright in the great outdoors.
"Happy in Colorado [person with folded hands emoji]," Linda Purl wrote on Thursday with a photo of her wearing a draped golden top with white pants and her hair pulled back casually.
"Linda, you look absolutely stunning!!" a fan commented. "That color is you! A beautiful breath of fresh air in this horrible heat! Have a fabulous day!" The northern hemisphere has had extreme heat waves this summer.
"You look great, and Colorado really agrees with you!" an Instagram user said. Writer and lifestyle model Barbie Holmes wrote:
"Hello, beautiful friend!!"
"Linda, you're absolutely stunning. Patrick, you're a lucky man," one said, addressing the actress' late-in-life beau, actor and entrepreneur Patrick Duffy.

Purl has had a long career dating from the mid-fifties but is best known to younger steaming audiences as Jenna Fischer's TV mom, Helene Beesly, who had a one-night stand with Michael Scott, portrayed by Steve Carell, after her daughter's wedding in "The Office."
Other memorable roles include Gloria, a recurring character] in the show's second season, "Happy Days." She later returned to the show in a different role as Ashley Pfister.
Most recently, she was in the soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" with her partner Duffy. The couple connected on a group chat during the pandemic, which bloomed over Zoom chats, a new technology for both of them.

The actress was married to Desi Arnaz Jr. in her twenties, and her fourth marriage ended in 2011. Duffy's union with ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser ended in 2017 with her death.
Purl and Duffy's young relationship, which began in the summer of 2020, was tested when they accepted roles in a theatre production in Europe for seven months. Duffy recalls:
"And people say, 'Oh my god, that must've been so dangerous!' We thought it was great."

The pair have become business partners in Duffy's Dough. Patrick Duffy quipped he is thankful that "The Bold and the Beautiful" gave them separate dressing rooms.
"We haven't found the difficult yet. I haven't found it. Have you?" Linda Purl asked Duffy in a joint interview in December 2022. "No," he replied.
