Daniel Henney's Wife: The Heartthrob Has Not Confirmed Whether He Is in a Romantic Relationship

Daniel Henney's wife has been a topic of interest among fans since he rose to fame as an actor. The "The Wheel of Time" star has been very private about his love life; however, he has opened up about his type of woman and admitted to missing being in a relationship.

As fans have wondered whether or not Daniel Henney has a wife, the Hollywood star has kept pursed lips about his love life. Instead, his agency denied any romance rumors between him and a famous actress.

However, while Daniel Henney has yet to set the record straight about his love life, the actor admitted that having someone special in your life was essential and revealed that he missed being in a relationship.

Daniel Henney's Agency Denied Any Romance Rumors between Him and Ru Kumagai

In 2018, Henney sparked dating rumors with Japanese-American actress Ru Kumagai. Eagle-eyed onlookers noticed that the two actors shared a string of now-deleted social media posts that appeared to have been taken at the same place.

The "Criminal Minds" — co-starring Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Thomas Gibson — star reportedly also posted content with Kumagai's dog, including a clip of himself and two canines enjoying a lake day in 2019, after his agency denied any rumors. Henney's agency shared:

"We would like to clarify the rumors of our actor Daniel Henney dating actress Ru Kumagai. Our agency contacted him and asked about the issue, and he clarified that they are just friends (that) met from casual encounters."

Daniel Henney Is Married to His Career and a Doting Dog Parent

Before making a name for himself as an actor, Henney had a budding modeling career that saw him travel worldwide in college. However, he became a household name in South Korea following his role as Dr. Henry Kim in "My Lovely Sam Soon," also known as "My Name is Kim Sam Soon."

Henney has since made it big in Hollywood and has landed roles that have seen him share the silver and small screen with Hugh Jackman in "X-Men Originals: Wolverine," Alex O'Loughlin in "Hawaii Five-0," and more.

In 2016, Henney shared a meal with friends and opened up about his dating life.

In May 2022, the actor took to Instagram to celebrate his dogs on National Rescue Dog Day and shared, "They make everything better."

Towards the end of 2022, the actor shared glimpses of his travels with his dogs to Michigan to enjoy sunset boat rides and fall hikes. This year, Henney had to say goodbye to his pets again as he returned to work and shared a snap of himself puckering up his lips towards one of his dogs.

Daniel Henney Revealed That He Missed Being in a Relationship

In 2016, Henney shared a meal with friends and opened up about his dating life. The actor shared that while it was challenging to meet a good person, he still missed being in a relationship. He said:

"It's important to be able to have someone in your life at times [...]."

Henney added that when looking for a partner, he liked athletic women who enjoyed working out. And in addition to caring for their health and bodies, his dating preference includes a woman who will keep the laughs coming with her sense of humor.
