There's no bigger heartbreak than losing a loved one tragically. An ever bigger heartbreak is discovering things about them that you didn't know when they were still alive.

This was the scenario of a man grieving the loss of his wife of seven years. She was in a horrific car accident with a large gasoline truck that had hit her car, entrapping her.

The man and his wife were high school sweethearts. They had been together since the beginning, and no one else got in the way of their happy ending.

More than being husband and wife, they were the best of friends. They spent much time together, save for the times his wife had to travel for work.

He Discovered a Shocking Secret Regarding His Wife's Work

His late wife was a music teacher. She tutored adults, mostly giving singing and violin lessons. The man didn't think much of his wife's job. He thought it was her passion and what made her happy.

Days after her death, however, his perspective completely changed. He received a video from an anonymous sender of his wife sitting on a couch with another man.

Two other men were around them, videoing the scene and giggling. He described the men in the video as "amateur rappers."

The gut-wrenching video came with a message that read: "One week before your wife was burnt to a crisp." It featured laughing emojis and crushed the man's heart.

To make matters worse, he couldn't stop watching the video, causing him to question his manhood.

Not only did he discover that his wife was cheating on him, but someone was also making fun of her death. "It was her, and my heart sunk and exploded at the same time," he admitted.

After the discovery, he no longer wanted to participate in his wife's funeral arrangements. He distanced himself from the woman's family, and it frustrated them.

To the family, the man was selfish and didn't want to be a part of his late wife's funeral. Deep inside, however, he wished to keep his discovery to himself so his wife's final memory wouldn't be of her infidelity.

"Her family is enraged at me and demands that I go to the funeral," he revealed. To make matters worse, he couldn't stop watching the video, causing him to question his manhood.

"[I don't know] why she would cheat," he questioned. He sought support online, and people were quick to share their thoughts.

One user said he could hate his wife all he wanted, but he still had a relationship with her family to care about. "They’re now sitting here completely confused. Show up for them. Then tell them the truth. Don't destroy your relationship with them. Your relationship with them is real," she wrote.

Someone had a conflicting response, saying he had every right to be mad. "If you can't go to the funeral, you can't go. Just make sure it isn't something you'll regret. Let her family be mad, take care of yourself. Have a friend help with giving her things back to her family if that's what you want," she suggested.

What do you think is best for the man to do, given his situation? Would you choose to go to the funeral or miss it?
