Bella Berlin Announces She's the 2023 National American Miss Teen New Jersey Spokesmodel — Facts about Harris Faulkner’s Daughter
A rising star in the beauty pageant circuit, Bella Berlin is the eldest daughter of "Outnumbered Overtime's" Harris Faulkner and PR professional Tony Berlin.
Bella Berlin showed very strongly at the American Miss Teen New Jersey in August 2023. In the past, Harris Faulkner has praised the teenager's comedic chops and vocal ability.
The Fox presenter wrote on social media how proud they were of the teen when she turned 16 in 2023 and frequently touted her daughter's accomplishments on her platforms. Bella has a younger sister, Danica Berlin.
Teenage Beauty Queen and Swiftie
Bella's mother predicted in 2012 that her then-5-year-old would "eclipse" her "in the singing department." She is also known for her humor, with Harris calling her "stand-up funny."
The Fox anchor proudly reported on August 7, 2023, that her eldest was representing Edgewater at the National American Miss Teen New Jersey.
The teenager wore sparkling silver cowboy-inspired boots as a possible nod to her mom's Texan roots in two looks, an all-denim ensemble, and a bodycon dress.
"Placing first for the National American Miss Beauty pageant," Bella announced on August 8, once again in the silver boots in the opening slide of her post, this time with a lilac gown. "I am the 2023 titleholder for Miss New Jersey Spokesmodel," she added.
Harris agreed that she is hilarious.
The budding beauty queen celebrated her sweet 16 birthday at Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" performance at the MetLife Stadium in Jersey. She and Harris had a mom/daughter weekend at the Super Bowl LVII, cheering the Kansas City Chiefs to victory.
Bella Berlin Is Biracial
As the biracial daughter of an African-American mother, and Jewish father, the social unrest following the killing of George Floyd in 2020 sparked essential conversations in her household.
"I'm teaching my girls that you've got to come into the center of the room if you want to find peace," Harris said in 2020. She told them to use their "gifts" to help make a difference. Bella identified her gift as "the ability to make people laugh."
Though Harris agreed that she is hilarious, she pointed out that telling a joke is inappropriate in some situations, to which the then 13-year-old replied, "No, but it's always appropriate to see if you can spread your smile."
Bella Berlin's Parents Once Worked at Competing TV Stations
Harris Faulkner met WCCO-TV reporter Tony Berlin when she worked for another station in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. The Fox personality remarked:
"He has turned out to be a great hubby and dad."
Harris noted that when her girls were younger, they treated the telephone as "another medium like television." They would tell her, "Mommy, I'm going to watch Daddy on the phone."
An early convert to working from home, Tony left journalism to start Berlin Media Relations, a public relations firm. His work situation helped them strike a "balance" when raising their kids. For Superbowl Sundays, the family all dress up to watch the game.
