Alisabeth Brown is a potter and a glass worker. Her passion for pottery goes beyond just building great artistic pieces. She revealed during an interview that her inspiration for creating great pieces comes from her sketchbook, where she draws different ideas.

In a 2018 interview, Alisabeth revealed that she began doing glasswork a year prior. Interestingly, she had originally joined art school with clay as her primary medium. However, she admitted that she intended to switch to glass but didn't at the time until she ended up becoming friends with one of the teachers she worked with.

Although Alisabeth decided not to pursue an active acting career, she strongly supported her mother's career.

Even though there was a lot of stigma surrounding interracial marriages, Alisabeth's mother revealed that it didn't bother them because they had support from their two families. After 24 years of marriage, Alisabeth's parents decided to go their separate ways, citing irreconcilable differences.

The divorce occurred when Alisabeth was 21, her sister Kathyne was 18, and Alexandra was only four. According to Alisabeth's mom, Tyne Daly, her ex-husband, Gorg Stanford Brown, left her like a fool when he was 50. Speaking in an interview, she said:

"Yes. I met him when I was 17. We have three children and four grandchildren, and he quit me like a fool when he was 50. But something happens to men when they're 50. They get horribly scared."

Although Alisabeth decided not to pursue an active acting career, she strongly supported her mother's career. During her younger years, she frequently accompanied her mother to red-carpet events, and she, along with her siblings, even joined their mother at the 54th Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards. Alisabeth has been seen alongside her mother at numerous other high-profile events, underscoring their tight-knit and loving relationship.
