Beckett Mazeau Is Jenna Lyons’ Only Son with Ex-husband Vincent Mazeau

Beckett Mazeau is Jenna Lyons and Vincent Mazeau's teenage son. His parents parted ways when he was fairly young, and he has since been thrust into the limelight.

Beckett Mazeau is an only child. His family was torn apart as a youngster, and there was a custody battle over him. His father, Vincent Mazeau, asked for sole custody amid a divorce from his mother, Jenna Lyons.

Since then, Beckett has practically grown up in the public eye thanks to his famous mom, an esteemed fashion designer who has previously worked for a well-known clothing company.

Although Beckett is still a teenager, he has not pursued a career in the public field. However, he has shared glimpses into his personal life through his social media.

As a child, his mother put him in an advertisement for her former company, which caused a lot of controversy several years ago. Lyons defended herself in an interview that same period.

Beckett Mazeau was born in October 2006. In October 2021, his mother paid tribute to him on his 15th birthday on Instagram, alongside several photos of him from childhood. Lyons captioned her post:

"Beckett Lyons Mazeau arrived at 2:30 p.m. on October 3rd. I couldn't love you more - never not, ever not ever, not loving you. […] Thank you for letting me be your mama. […] I LOVE YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY B!!!"

As a child, Beckett appeared in his mother's J. Crew ad in April 2011; Lyons was the executive creative director for the company at the time (another mom of four, Abby McGrew, also worked in the fashion industry). In the photo, the mother of one was pictured while holding his son's feet, which were painted in pink nail polish.

The caption read, "Lucky for me, I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink." The ad received heavy criticism, with people stating it was pushing transgender ideas onto young kids.

Erin Brown from the Media Research Center called the ad "blatant propaganda celebrating transgendered children," adding Lyons' encouragement could create a difficult life for her son in the future.

Several years later, Lyons responded to the backlash in a June 2022 interview. Beckett's mom described the ordeal as "an innocuous slice-of-motherhood moment that wound up becoming a subject of debate on national television," adding:

"All boys and girls want to do what their parents are doing. I paint my son's toenails all the time."

When he is not appearing in ads, Beckett makes appearances on national television alongside his beloved mom and meets celebrities. On March 10, 2023, he posted a throwback photo talking to TV host Jimmy Fallon backstage when he was eight years old.

Beckett also shared pictures of him and Fallon six years later while appearing on his show, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," including a clip of his mom as a guest.

A month before appearing on national TV, Beckett posted several images of him and his family, with one shot showing them leaning in for a group photo.

Most recently, he shared pictures of himself and his friends on a camping trip where they participated in several activities, including hiking and rock climbing.

It appears Beckett enjoys spending time outdoors, as she posted photos participating in similar activities in May 2023. He captioned his post, "The Cliffs at Poly."

A month later, the youngster shared a photo posing with his cat and shared several other images of him and his pet. He wrote on his Instagram post, "Kitty-koo."

Beckett Mazeau's Parents' Split

In October 2011, reports revealed Beckett Mazeau's mom and had gone their separate ways that summer following nine years of marriage. At the time, things were reportedly getting tense as Vincent sought custody of the estranged couple's son.

In the filing, he stated he had halted his career to become a stay-at-home father. At the same time, Lyons' pals revealed she supported the artist's career and provided him with a comfortable life. Nonetheless, they now have shared custody.

During that time, the doting mom was reported to be in a new relationship. She was said to be dating her friend Courtney Crangi, whom she had met three years prior at a fashion event.

A source close to Lyons disclosed her new-found romance had nothing to do with the end of her marriage with Vincent – as they attempted to salvage it two years before filing for divorce but failed to.

Lyons and Crangi dated for six years before breaking up in 2017. However, there were no details about the split. They went public with their relationship in November 2012.
