The Hollywood star wore a gray hoodie and black shorts on the outing. He completed the look with black sneakers, a gray beanie, and sunglasses.

Once he got inside his car, the award-winning actor removed his hat to reveal his shaved head. The pictures show Jones with a fully-grown beard and a mustache.

Fans commented on photos of him during his outing, and some expressed there is nothing wrong with how he looks today because he is now a grown man.

"And you wonder why he rarely goes out in public. Also, he is almost 30, not a child anymore, so of course he looks unrecognizable," one user said alongside an annoyed face emoji.

Someone else shared the same sentiments, writing, "Of course he looks different. He's all grown up now." "He's unrecognizable? Because he's 28 and not like 12 anymore," added one user.

Another Instagram user commented, "He looks like a regular dude doing regular life!" While one person said, "He's 29 and rich." Someone stated it was easy to recognize Jones.

“[…] I knew he was going to be a "husky" guy. He looks okay. I would not be upset if he got himself a pair of Brooks, New Balance," said a fan, while another quipped, "Good for him!"

Someone else complimented Jones, saying, "Looks awesome," and another social media user claimed the former star dislikes "stardom," adding that they once met him at a cancer event.

Jones Left Hollywood Following His Stint on a Sitcom

Jones is best known for playing Jake Harper in the CBS hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men," alongside Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, and Ashton Kutcher.

He starred in the popular show, which aired for 12 seasons from 2003 to 2015. The Texas native reportedly earned $350,000 per episode during his final season as a full cast member.

He became the highest-paid teenager on television but was later downgraded to a recurring cast member during season 11 of the beloved series. In a March 2014 interview, Jones negatively talked about his former employer, stating that the show no longer aligned with what he believed in:

"It was making light of topics in our world that are really problems for a lot of people, and I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't okay with it, but I was still doing it."

In a YouTube video from November 2012 by church Forerunner Chronicles, the two-time Young Artist Award winner urged fans to stop watching "Two and a Half Men," adding, "Stop filling your head with filth."

Jones later expressed that he felt apologetic for his comments insulting the show's creator, Chuck Lorre, in that manner but also stated, "Otherwise, I don't regret any of what I said."

At the time, he was a 20-year-old college student attending the University of Colorado at Boulder. But he revealed there was a possibility that he would return to acting in the future. "There's a few different productions that do kind of Bible-based stories. Stuff like that," said the TV Land Award winner.

Jones has reportedly found God and stated he could not be a God-fearing individual while appearing on a television show like that. He left the show in 2012 and has since quit Hollywood.

Jones in the Last Few Years after Leaving Hollywood

Eleven years after his abrupt exit from "Two and a Half Men," Jones, 29, made a rare public appearance in May 2023 in Los Angeles, California. He was reportedly taking a stroll in the neighborhood, donning a white T-shirt, gray shorts, and a red baseball cap.

Jones also sported a facial hair and glasses. That appearance came weeks after he was reportedly spotted walking barefoot in his neighborhood and wore a similar outfit that included shorts, a T-shirt, and a gray beanie.

Before his late April 2023 sighting, the television star had reportedly not been seen in a year. He has not appeared in any acting stints since his exit from "Two and a Half Men."

Two years after he left the successful series, Jones spoke out at the Seventh Day Adventist Church World Harvest Outreach, talking negatively about it. In November 2012, Jones said he started reading the Bible following his departure and started looking for a church he could attend as he attended a Christian school.

"Every Sunday, I was going to like three or four churches, and I was just looking for the right church," Jones explained. He finally found one and started Bible work there. The movie star divulged that listening to the sermons in the church made him see things differently, and his life changed right then. He stated, "The message was clear," referencing what he should be doing in his life.

While learning about the Adventist Church, the "Bringing Down the House" star began to enjoy his experience at the particular church. He admitted that his family tried to discourage him from attending church, but he did not listen because everything he learned was there in the Bible.

Jones, who starred in the comedy film "George of the Jungle 2" alongside Christopher Showerman, also revealed that he started participating in an all-inclusive Evangelism class and described the experience as super awesome.
