Kodak Black's Girlfriend: The Rapper Said He Was Going to Get Married in His 20s

Over the years, Kodak Black has kept his fans intrigued about his dating life and whether he has a girlfriend, as the rapper has opened up about possibly meeting "the one," his rumored engagements, and wanting to settle down.

Kodak Black's love life has kept his fans on their feet, as a few years ago, the rapper hinted at possibly meeting the one and later popped the question to one of his girlfriends.

However, he was rumored to be engaged to many women, professed his love for someone else, and sparked dating rumors with another. The rapper has also fathered multiple children.

In 2018, Kodak Black, born Bill Kahan Kapri, revealed that he wanted to get married in his 20s; anything older than that, and he would no longer find the idea of marriage appealing. The rapper added that not only did he have how he would propose one day planned to a T, but he could also see himself being monogamous.

"The other night, I fell asleep on the phone with a girl," Kodak Black shared, revealing that he had not done so since middle school. And when he was further asked if the mystery woman was "the one," the rapped giddily replied, "I hope so."

In February 2021, Kodak Black and his then-girlfriend — fellow Florida native rapper Mellow Rackz — confirmed that their relationship had reached new heights as they had gotten engaged.

The latter took to Instagram to share clips of herself in the rapper's embrace and donning a diamond rock, followed by a video of a flying aircraft with a banner that read, "Might as well marry me Melody. I love u."

Mellow Rackz also posted videos of her and Kodak Black singing on a pier. However, later that year, the female rapper confirmed that she and the rapper were no longer together, as she shared:

"We don't talk, but...I wish him the best. I want the best for him. We weren't the persons for each other."

A year later, Kodak Black seemingly shared the same sentiment. When asked about his relationship status, he revealed that he was no longer engaged following a few engagement rumors.

Singer Monica Denise Was Rumored to Be Kodak Black's Girlfriend

In 2022, Kodak Black found himself amid romance rumors between him and Monica Denise, the Grammy Award-winning artist from Atlanta who has also dabbled in acting.

In October 2022, one social media user took to Twitter and wrote, "Monica and Kodak Black together? For real?" Another user shared the same sentiment: "Monica dating Kodak Black was NOT on my bingo card."

A third person tweeted, "Kodak Black & Monica went on a date last night & she's trending on social media," and a fourth typed, "Kodak Black dating THE Monica aka Goonica? Plz tell me it's PR.."

Denise later responded to the allegations between her and Kodak Black, writing in part, "Bill & Shimmy My Heart … They know they can trust me with whatever & never have to doubt me!! Not every relationship is about messing or dating! [...] I'm gonna FOREVER love support & encourage them! They don't play about me."
