In addition to landing a role on "The Cosby Show," some other productions Pulliam went on to act include "House of Payne" and "Madea Goes to Jail." Outside of her acting career, Pulliam is also a loving wife to Brad James, 42, and a doting mom of two.
Like Pulliam, James, born in Augusta, Georgia, is also an actor. His resume boasts commercials for top-notch brands, such as BlackBerry and Walmart. James has also garnered a recurring role on "Outer Banks," and has made guest appearances on the popular series "Teen Wolf" and "NCIS."
James and Pulliam's careers essentially brought them together. The lovebirds initially met in 2019 while filming the TV movie version of "Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta." According to the "Beauty Shop" actress:
"Honestly we just hit it off. We had a lot of downtime...So there were times where we would all be sitting in the cast seats or the van just talking."
In addition to finding love together, James and Pulliam started their own production company, Jamestown Filmworks. Although the company is still in its infancy stage, James said they already have been working on several projects.
The love shared between James and his wife is heartwarming and beautiful. Being the loving husband he is, Pulliam previously shared how the "A House Divided" actor will sometimes leave loving notes and small gifts for her.
Apart from being a busy man on-screen and behind the scenes, James is also a devoted father to the two kids he and Pulliam share. After marrying in September 2021, the duo welcomed a baby boy in April this year after announcing that they were expecting last year in December.
In addition to their son, Pulliam has a daughter from her previous marriage, whom James loves like his own, as Pulliam attests in her endearing posts featuring special moments the two share. Together, the family of four lives on their farm in Northern Virginia.
Keshia Knight Pulliam Lives on a Northern Virginia Farm with Her Husband and Two Kids
Currently, Pulliam and James live their best lives in their Northern Virginian farm home with their kids. The "Will to Love" star has shared videos and pictures of their charming life: enjoying relaxation time with her kids, playing with their animals who make regular cameos, and getting some good old-fashioned farm work done.
Pulliam may have gone through a tough time with her ex-husband, but she found her happily ever after with James.
Last year, Pulliam showed her husband hard at work, sawing some wood shirtless. In the video, Pulliam casually strolls up to James and asks him what he is up to. Her caption implied that James was busy with a building renovation project on their lot.
When people saw the video of James sawing wood, many were less interested in what he was doing and more interested in how he appeared. Some complimented the shirtless, cowboy hat-wearing actor for looking good. One Instagrammer gushed:
"@keishaknightpulliam ur husband is very handsome."

This year, Pulliam posted another Instagram video as what appeared to be an update on their renovation project. As she walks on the lusciously green grass with her baby boy strapped safely to her chest, Pulliam shows a room in their barn being transformed into something else. Another part of the video shows the family goats and dogs joining her for the sneak preview.
Other insights into what life on the Pulliam-James family farm looks like include adorable pictures of Pulliam's daughter as a budding equestrian. In June of last year, Pulliam posted a series of images of her daughter gently tending to horses and riding them, fitted in equestrian riding gear. The mama bear's caption boasts about how proud she is of her little girl, who took an interest in a skill she used to enjoy herself:
"Most don't know that I graduated from @foxcroftschool. In high school I competed on the riding team and rode almost every day. I'm happy that I now have a little riding partner."
Living a farm life with her precious goats named Biggie and Pac, her husband's gifts to her on one Valentine's Day, and chickens, was something Pulliam had a bit of experience with. In a previous interview, when asked about their family life on their farm, Pulliam recalled how she and her family moved to their 20-acre home in Northern Virginia when she was in high school.
While Pulliam spoke about her previous life in the countryside when she was younger, her husband, James, said he grew up differently. Despite coming from the country himself, James explained:
"This is all new to me. I'm not from a farm. I was raised by military people."
Before Marrying Brad James, Keshia Knight Pulliam Went through a Divorce
Before she met her prince charming, Pulliam was married to former American footballer Ed Hartwell. The two went through a rough patch in their relationship when Hartwell filed for divorce, in addition to asking for a paternity test.

The divorce filing came just six months after Hartwell and Pulliam tied the knot and a week following Pulliam's pregnancy announcement. According to a source, though Hartwell had no evidence that Pulliam had been unfaithful to him, he still insisted on getting a paternity test for their daughter, which revealed he was the father.
Additionally, the same source mentioned that the former couple's pregnancy news came during a dark period in their relationship. After finalizing their divorce in 2018, a judge awarded Pulliam primary custody of their daughter.
Hartwell was granted visitation rights and had to pay monthly child support payments of $3,007. And after going back and forth over the last name their daughter would take, both came to an agreement on Ella Grace Pulliam-Hartwell.
Pulliam may have gone through a tough time with her ex-husband, but she found her happily ever after with James.
The married couple continues to live a beautiful life with their children on their Northern Virginia farm.
