Keshia Knight Pulliam to Take a Break from Work to Focus On Her Pregnancy

Keshia Knight Pulliam honored her last work commitment before going on "preggers leave" this week. Her Instagram community of over two million wished the former child star and singer a relaxing time off and prayers for a safe delivery.

Keshia Knight Pulliam is seen gulping liters of blue liquid in full glam before she going live virtually on Tamron Hall's show in a clip posted on March 15, 2023. Addressing her as soror (sister), a fan wrote: "Now the family is complete. Take care and love on those babies."

Just four days ago, the "Beauty Shop" star and husband, Brad James, revealed on Instagram: "It's a BOY!!" In the excellent action shot, her daughter Ella Hartwell helps her shoot blue smoke in the air, while James did the same in the opposite direction to the joy of the onlooking crowd.

Keshia Knight Pulliam Is Already a Proud Mom to Her Daughter Ella

Pulliam had Ella Grace Hartwell on January 23, 2017, deriving her daughter's middle name from having gone through a difficult time with "the grace of God." Her first husband, Ed Hartwell, filed for divorce days after they announced the pregnancy in mid-2016.

Just like her mommy, Ella is a horse girl and practices meditation. She enrolled in official riding lessons in the summer of 2022, to the delight of the "New Orleans Noel" actress, writing on social media that she's happy to gain a "little riding partner."

Keshia Knight Pulliam met her second husband, Brad James, while filming a TV movie in 2019, and her "James Bond" proposed a year later. After their wedding in October 2021, James wrote that he was grateful to take his first step on a new journey with his co-parent, "ride not die-er," and lover:

"I love you eternally and gift you with my tribe and family, who will protect and support you and our family by any means necessary."

Pulliam was glad to speak openly about her pregnancy; however, having had a miscarriage, she wanted to savor the moment and "make sure that everything is okay." The Pulliam-James family lives on a farm in Atlanta, Georgia.
