Chrisley is mourning the loss of the former hockey player, who succumbed to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident on September 23, 2023.

Police revealed the former NHL star was involved in a crash in the wee hours of the morning as he ran through a stop sign in a residential area in Nashville. Kerdiles was riding his Indian Motorcycle when he collided with a BMW vehicle.

The other driver reportedly stopped the car – and there were no signs of impairment from either of them. Kerdiles was transported to the hospital, where he sadly died.

Chrisley Mourns Kerdiles' Untimely Death

Since the news of Kerdiles' passing made headlines, his ex-fiancée has spoken out. She posted a photo of them kissing on her Instagram Story and revealed she texted him and waited for his response before she knew about the accident. Chrisley captioned the post:

"I'm still hoping you respond to my text."

The television personality also shared another picture of the pair holding hands and smiling at the beach. Chrisley penned, "Heaven gained the most beautiful angel," adding that she loves and misses him.

Chrisley, the daughter of Todd and Julie, divulged that she would keep the duo's very last "I love you messages," and shared she and Kerdiles "loved hard."

Inside Chrisley & Kerdiles' Relationship

Kerdiles and Chrisley started dating in 2017. They were engaged for a while between 2018 and 2020 before she called off the engagement and broke up with him in September 2020.

The sportsman and the reality star parted ways after three years together. However, in August 2021, Chrisley revealed that she and Kerdiles had decided to rekindle their romance.

"Nic is still in my life. We're still trying to figure things out," the TV star admitted at the time. Still, she did not disclose further details and stated they would keep things low-key moving forward.

Chrisley expressed that she had reached a point where she had decided to omit details about her love life to the public because she wanted privacy. But the star added that she and Kerdiles were taking it slow.
