Henry Aronofsky is Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky's only child together, and according to the actress, the teenager has not taken an interest in his parents' lives as celebrities. Henry Aronofsky has also taken a step back from the public eye over the years.

Henry Aronofsky was born to two prominent figures in the film industry and was often spotted out and about with his famous parents when he was younger. However, since becoming a teenager, his mother revealed he hadn't taken an interest in the side of her life where she is a celebrity.

Henry Aronofsky has also strayed from the spotlight, leaving the public to keep up with his life through his parents. The couple separated a few years back, and Henry Aronofsky's mother has since married and made him an older brother.

Henry Aronofsky's Public Appearances Have Decreased over the Years

In June 2006, Rachel's spokeswoman, Kelly Bush, confirmed Henry's birth, sharing that he and his mother were "happy, healthy, wonderful." A few months later, Henry joined his mother at the Venice Film Festival in Italy and was much older when he was spotted with both his parents in New York City in 2011.

In March 2013, Henry and his mother were photographed out and about in the East Village in New York, and a few months later, paparazzi caught them walking hand in hand along the streets of the Big Apple once more.

In 2010, when Henry was 4, the news broke of his parents' separation after nine years together.

In 2019, when Henry was about to turn 13, he was spotted on a mother-son outing with his mom to the Opera in London. Henry has since been seen less and less in public over the years, and when he was 9, his famous mother revealed he showed no interest in her life as a celebrity. Rachel shared:

"He's really not very interested in that side of my life. I suppose he must be aware of it, but as far as he's concerned, I'm just Mum. He's never seen a film of mine. If he sees me in make-up and a dress, ready to go out to an event, he thinks I look awful. He doesn't like make-up. He's got good taste."

Henry Aronofsky Was a Creative Child

While it remains unclear whether Henry will follow in his parents' footsteps and pursue a career in the film industry, in 2015, his mother revealed he had inherited the creative gene from his mom and dad.

"He's got a wide and boundless imagination. He's constantly building and, drawing and creating stories. At the moment, it all features lots of battles between good guys and bad guys, and I don't have to do anything to encourage it at all. It's just what he does," Henry's mother shared.

Henry Aronofsky's Parents Parted Ways When He Was Still a Child

In 2010, when Henry was 4, the news broke of his parents' separation after nine years together. The couple never married and, according to reports, had been separated for months prior.

"Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC," a representative for the former couple stated. Henry's mother later married "James Bond" star Daniel Craig.

The couple said "I do" during an intimate ceremony in their New York home, which Henry attended with his step-sister, Daniel's daughter from a previous relationship. He became an older half-brother in 2018 after his mother and her new husband added a new addition to their blended family, a baby girl.
