Anya Taylor-Joy’s 5 Siblings Are Much Older than Her – What We Know about Her Family
Anya Taylor-Joy's siblings live very private lives, as she has protected their identities and only briefly speaks about them. The actress is one of six children, born to a former powerboat racing champion and a psychologist.
Anya Taylor-Joy's plunge into the industry was a brave one that "terrified" her family. However, despite their fears, she proved to be a remarkable talent, lauded for her performances in several productions such as "The Queen's Gambit" and "Last Night in Soho."
The actress had a colorful childhood, growing up in starkly different places. The youngest of six siblings, who are significantly older, her family and upbringing influenced how she perceived herself.

Anya Taylor-Joy's Siblings: Their Reaction to Her Career Choice
Taylor-Joy was 16 when she decided to leave school to become an actor. When she broke the news to her family, she remembered how "terrified" they all were, particularly her brothers and sisters.
"All of my brothers and sisters called me to tell me I was ruining my life. I cried hysterically," she recalled. But as she set her mind on pursuing her passion, Taylor-Joy saw it as a win-win situation. In the essay she wrote to her parents, explaining her motives, she said:
"Look, I'm your youngest child; I've dropped out of school, and you have no obligation to be here anymore. Go out and travel the world! Enjoy yourselves and spend time together."

Anya Taylor Joy's Youngest Elder Sister Is Seven Years Her Senior
Taylor-Joy has five older brothers and sisters. The six siblings were born to a "free-spirited and hippyish" psychologist mom and a former powerboat racer dad. Taylor-Joy said she felt lucky to come from a large family.
She was born in Miami in 1996, soon after which her family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. They relocated again to London when she was six, a transition Taylor-Joy described as "very traumatic." In Buenos Aires, she lived happily, surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Then, suddenly, she was in this "intense big city" in the UK. Additionally, she noted that because of the age gap between herself and her siblings, she was "kind of raised like an only child." Growing up around adults also influenced how she perceived herself.
Taylor-Joy said she never saw herself as a child; she shared that her parents always raised her as if they always trusted her. The "Peaky Blinders" star rarely speaks of her relationship with her siblings, but she once recalled a humorous incident with one of them.
When she was around ten or 11, she was tagged in a Facebook post. It was a photo of a fish, which she found confusing, but her sister explained, "It's because your eyes are really far apart. You look like a fish." It was a horrifying realization for young Taylor-Joy.
Anya Taylor-Joy Recently Tied the Knot
Taylor Joy recently tied the knot with musician and actor Malcolm McRae in Venice, Italy. It was a stunning occasion with a star-studded guest list, as attendees included Miles Teller's wife, Keleigh Sperry, Julia Garner, and Cara Delevingne.
Although these guests were photographed at the wedding, there haven't been any reports of her siblings being present. Still, the actress is not the only one of them who has married. In 2015, she shared a photo of one of her brothers embracing a woman she called "his bride."
