Famous American actor Barry Livingston, 69, has been in the entertainment industry for a long time. Since starting his career as a child star playing the lovable nerdy character of Ernie Thompson Douglas on the popular classic "My Three Sons," he has garnered many acting credits, starring in other notable productions.

Despite entering show business at a young age, Barry avoided finding himself in the sticky situations plaguing most child actors who grow up on camera. Barring a brief period where he dabbled in the party scene in his 20s, the actor kept a good head on his shoulders.

Although Barry admitted to going through a brief phase where he allowed himself to indulge in rebellious acts, things changed once he met his beloved wife, Karen Huntsman. The couple wed in 1983 after Barry popped the question on December 7, 1982.

During their relationship, they welcomed their kids, Spencer and Hailey Livingston, whom doting dad Barry loved to spend time outdoors with. Barry and Karen have been married for four decades and are still going strong. In his 2011 memoir, while speaking about his wife, Barry gushed:

Recently, the child star turned family man watched his only son, Spencer, get married. Barry shared a family picture of the newlyweds on social media. They were surrounded by their cheering loved ones after tying the knot.

The proud and excited dad shared another picture of just the happy couple. In the photo, Spencer and his wife, Alex Livingston, smiled at the camera as Spencer dipped Alex and held onto her waist. The actor captioned the image:

"Ladies and gentlemen, meet Mr. and Mrs. Livingston! What a joy to see these two beautiful souls joined in matrimony!!"

Similarly, Spencer took to his own social media account to boast about the wonderful news. The image he posted showed the lovebirds tenderly embraced while Alex held onto her bouquet.

The bride and the groom were dressed to the nines for their special day. Spencer opted for a classy black suit with a white dress shirt underneath, and Alex adorned a stunningly simple, flowy white dress with pretty strap heels and wore her dark hair in loose waves.

Regarding the intimate ceremony hosted at the Santa Barbara courthouse, the beautiful couple, and the overall celebration, many people congratulated Spencer and Alex on their union and showered the two with compliments.

Before exchanging vows at the courthouse, the bride and groom's day started by getting ready at The Ritz Carlton Bacara, who also commented:
