Owen Masters a Range of Talents
Owen, who recently turned 24 this year, is a multi-talented individual excelling as a singer, actor, and model. Owen proudly identifies as non-binary and gender non-conforming and uses the pronouns they/them.
Owen's parents are Chelsea Field and Scott Bakula, who gained fame through their roles in the hit series "NCIS: New Orleans" as the on-screen couple, lawyer Rita Devereaux and Special Agent Dwayne Pride, respectively. They have shared a blissful marriage since 2009.
Owen's Unwavering Dedication to Dance
The celebrity couple's child is a remarkable dancer. Owen is a company artist signed with the Columbia City Ballet and has recently joined the group for their 2022-2023 season. The young dancer reflected in one Instagram post:
"What a journey it has been. And the journey continues onward and upward!"
Owen has a deep love for the performing arts, excelling in contemporary and classical dance as well as solo performances. Their exceptional talent shines through in various productions.
One standout performance in Owen's career is the multimedia production "Studio 54." In it, they performed songs such as Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," Paul McCartney and Wings's "Good Night Tonight," and Van McCoy and the Soul City Symphony's "The Hustle."
Like Owen and their parents, Owen's brother has creativity and showmanship running in his veins.
The young artist also joined in the production "HeGEMony." Apart from that, Owen had also participated in a lively lip sync battle at a charity cabaret event to raise funds dedicated to rehabilitating and finding new homes for retired racehorses.
Additionally, Owen showed off their theatrical talents in 2019 in a production titled "An Evening of Classic Broadway," where they performed alongside mom Chelse and dad Scott.
Performing before a crowd is a skill that Owen shares with Chelsea. The mother-child duo's mutual love for dancing became evident when they joined forces to conduct jazz dance classes on Instagram in 2020.
In one of their captivating videos, Chelsea and Owen grooved to the beats of Justin Timberlake's chart-topping track, "Can't Stop the Feeling!" and the catchy hit "Drippin with Finesse" by Bruno Mars.
Owen and the actress's vibrant performance at home radiated joy. During their fun dance, Owen's mother reassured their viewers that these routines were beginner-friendly, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
Owen Has Three Siblings
Owen is Chelsea and Scott's youngest child. Additionally, they are proud parents to Owen's elder brother, Will Bakula, who graduated from Willamette University in 2018.
Like Owen and their parents, Owen's brother has creativity and showmanship running in his veins. Will is a keyboardist for the band Foamboy and collaborates with musician Julia Logue.
Owen has an older half-sister named Chelsy Bakula, and they occasionally spend time together. She is Scott's daughter from his previous marriage to Krista Neumann, during which they had a son named Cody Bakula.
Little is known about Chelsy, but she has shared some glimpses about her life, such as being married for over a decade and becoming a mom in 2021. Apart from occasional social media posts, the Bakula family seems private and seldom discusses their personal lives.
