A mother of four candidly shared her experience of gender disappointment. In a TikTok video posted on September 17, 2023, Kendra Evens revealed her emotional response upon learning she was expecting her fourth daughter.

The video captured Kendra, who already has three daughters, breaking down in tears as pink smoke emerged from a Jack-O-Lantern during a gender reveal event. As Kendra cried, "We get a girl?" one of her daughters exclaimed.

Another similar response echoed the disappointment in the surroundings: "What? Why do we have to get a girl?" Meanwhile, someone off-camera screamed, "Girl gang all day," while Kendra continued to shed tears. Her husband stood beside her, rubbing her back to provide comfort and support.

When Kendra learned she was expecting her fourth child, she knew it would be her last pregnancy. With three daughters already, she naturally hoped for a boy, especially considering her previous pregnancies had followed similar patterns.

Our feelings are valid as humans and gender disappointment should be more normalized. You don't know anyone's situation or feelings, and just because somebody is initially disappointed doesn't mean baby is not loved," she explained.
