‘I’d Ask for a DNA Test’: Fans React Seeing Christopher Reeve’s Youngest Son, 31, Who Looks ‘Nothing’ Like Dad

Will Reeve, 31, is the youngest son of the late beloved "Superman" star Christopher Reeve. The late actor had Will with his late wife, Dana Reeve.

Tragically, Will's parents passed away when the ABC News correspondent was a child. Before his death at 52 years old in 2004, Will's legendary father became paralyzed while competing in a 1995 equestrian competition.

He later devoted his life to becoming an activist and an advocate for spinal cord injury research and founded The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. At the time of Christopher's paralysis, Will was only three years old, and by the time his dad died, he was only 12 years old.

Though the father and son sadly did not have much time together, Will still got a little bit of time to experience his doting dad. Of his years with his father, Will shared:

"...my dad gave me everything: his love and attention, his values and passions..."

Will went on to express that he did not doubt that his purpose in life was to embody the person his father was and carry out his incredible legacy. However, he admitted to struggling with figuring out ways in which he could ever live up to his dad.

Being that his dad remains idolized and cherished as a famous hero, on and off camera, Will initially worried that he would fail. However, when he was 29 years old, he had a revelation:

"I'm 29 now and have finally started to understand what honoring my dad actually means. I thought it meant following the roads he would want me to go down...Turns out, our parents want us to find out who we are and go be that..."

Despite the brief time Christopher got to be Will's dad, the star made every effort to be there for him. According to a family friend, Christopher would make an avid attempt to go to all of his tournaments. In fact, he spent his last day alive attending one of Will's hockey games.

As if losing his dad wasn't enough, Will experienced another devastating loss when was only 13. He lost his loving mother, Dana, to lung cancer. As a result, Will ended up staying with a close friend after Dana reportedly made the living arrangements before passing away.

Will Reeve Was Recently Seen Attending an Event, and Some Expressed that He Looks 'Nothing' Like His Late Dad

Recently, the news anchor was seen stepping out in style in New York City with his girlfriend, Amanda Dubin, to attend the Bring Change to Mind Revels & Revelations event. Co-founded by Glenn Close and the actress' family, the organization hosting the event is a non-profit that aims to end discrimination and stigma concerning mental illness.

When a news outlet published an article referring to the 31-year-old Will as the look-alike of his late dad, many disagreed. One person even went so far as to remark:

"I'd ask for a DNA test..."

Many continued to comment on the dissimilarity between Will and the "Somewhere in Time" star. Another person stated:

"Wow amazing how much he looks nothing like his Dad."

As more people continued to share their opinions of the late dad and son not looking alike, others pointed out that they would not have known about the family tie between the two had it not been for the news source telling them who Will's father is. One internet user asserted:

"if you wouldn't have said he was [S]uperman's son, [I] would have NEVER guessed it in a million years."

Despite what some have to say about Will not sharing any resemblance with Christopher, the fact remains that Will is, in fact, the youngest son of the late star. The two loved each other dearly and cherished the little time they got to spend as father and son.
