‘The Sopranos’ Bobby Baccalieri Celebrates 'Low-Key' Daughter’s Wedding — Couple Pics from ‘Very Emotional’ Event

American actor Steve Schirripa, 66, is well-known for appearing as Bobby Baccalieri in the hit classic drama series "The Sopranos." Another one of his most iconic roles saw him play Detective Anthony Abetemarco on the cop-centered drama "Blue Bloods."

Aside from being an accomplished actor, Steve is a successful producer. He is also the host of two Investigative Discovery series.

In addition to being a prominent figure within the entertainment industry, Steve is a published author. He has written seven books, and two have been featured on the New York Times Best Seller list.

The "Open Season 2" talent is also a loving husband to his wife, Laura Schirripa, and a doting dad to their two daughters, Ciara and Bria. When it comes to being a father, Steve takes his role seriously. In fact, the author even has a book about parenting his kids: "Big Daddy's Rules: Raising Daughters Is Tougher Than I Look."

In the book, he shares a story about how, one time, he and Laura were away celebrating their anniversary and had left their eldest daughter, Bria, in charge. Steve recalled how out of all the rules his girls had to follow, only one was of utmost importance: no one was allowed to come over.

Long story short, Bria ended up breaking the rule and threw a party while her parents were away. Even though her younger sister remained loyal to her, downplaying the event to her parents when they found out, Bria was still put on punishment.

Though Steve, known for his fictional tough guy characters, adopted the role of disciplinarian and lives by the mantra that stipulates that being a good parent doesn't always mean being the popular parent, he still believes it's essential for kids to rebel a little. Of his stance as a dad, Steve stated:

"Kids have to rebel. It's their nature...Your job (as a parent) is to give them something to rebel against..."

Steve Schirripa's Youngest Daughter Recently Wed, and the Doting Dad Couldn't Be Prouder

This past Sunday, Steve's youngest daughter, Ciara, tied the knot with her boyfriend of many years, Zach Binder. The special day was hosted in New York City at Tribeca Grill, a location that bears sentimental significance for the Schirripa family.

Ciara and Zach met in 2014 while studying at the University of Delaware and started dating two years later. They got engaged in 2022.

For the occasion, the beautiful bride adorned an elegant, strapless white gown designed by Jude Jowilson and opted for a natural glam look for makeup.

Ciara's dashing groom rocked a classic white blazer, a white button-down dress shirt, a black bow tie, and black dress pants.

According to doting dad Steve, the wedding was planned by their entire family. When it came to the overall vibe and festivities of the day, Ciara, despite describing herself and her husband as "low-key" people, said:

"Nothing about the wedding was low-key."

Ciara's proud father was extremely pleased with how everything turned out for his little girl's big day. Of the joyous occasion and his feelings toward his daughter's groom, Steve divulged:

"...it was very emotional, of course [because] it's my youngest daughter...Zach is...I'm very, very proud to have him as [a son-in-law]..."

In addition to giving his seal of approval, Steve also shared that his confident that Zach will take good care of his precious baby girl.
