The singer's appearance comes days after she revealed that family members disliked her outfit choices. She was promoting her album "Rockstar" and her book, "Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones," when she opened up about her style.
In a candid interview, the multi-award-winning singer disclosed that her preacher grandfather and sharecropper father hated how she dressed. The songwriter's grandfather would even physically punish her. But she stated she would go the extra mile in achieving the look she wanted, saying:
"I was willing to pay for it. I'm very sensitive, I didn't like being disciplined – it hurt my feelings so bad to be scolded or whipped or whatever. But sometimes there’s just that part of you that’s willing, if you want something bad enough, to go for it."
The "9 to 5" singer wore long-sleeved outfits for years. She reportedly has many tattoos that allegedly cover her arms and torso. In a January 2017 interview, Parton said she chose not to make a big deal about her tattoos because people like making things bigger issues than they are.
However, the philanthropist admitted when she first started her career, she added the tattoos to cover up "some scars" that she had. "I have a tendency to have a keloid scar tissue," she explained.

Urban posted about the occasion on his Instagram, sharing a photo of him and Parton, including guitarist Eric Church. In the picture, the "Jolene" hitmaker could be seen between the two men wearing a white lace-up corset with matching skintight pants.
Fans commented on the social media upload, with some expressing their approval of the actress. One person wrote, "The queen Dolly," alongside a heart emoji, while another fan said, "Congratulations, and Dolly is the best," with someone else noting:
"Dolly, you're freaking beautiful!"

On January 19, 2023, Parton celebrated turning 77 years old. During an interview the following month, the singer revealed she isn't afraid of aging and preferred being her age instead of being younger, as young people went through many things she'd rather avoid.

The star believed age came with wisdom and that the aging process couldn't be stopped. Parton admits that everyone would love to remain 35 forever, and in her mind, she does, but the singer also knows she needs to make every moment count.

Parton feels she can live to 100 or die the next day, but whatever happens, she'll die trying and making the most of everything. The songstress believes if she stays healthy, the numbers "shouldn't matter" because she doesn't feel, work, think, and "hopefully" look her age.
It doesn't seem like she will slow down anytime soon in her successful singing career as she continues to record and tour regularly. The ten-time Grammy Award winner admitted in a July 2023 interview that she is not the type of person who sits around "doing nothing."
"I would never retire. I'll just hopefully drop dead in the middle of a song on stage. Some day, hopefully, what I've written," said the musician. Parton initially found success with country star Porter Wagoner in the 1960s before launching her solo career.
