Michael Douglas is almost 80 years old and is a father of three after being married twice. His youngest child has expressed fears about him not living long enough to witness one of the most joyful days in her life.

However, the "Wall Street" star said he has never gone through such a crisis in his own life. When asked if he felt the same way when he had cancer several years back, Michael answered:

"It's weird, I know, but during the entire time I was going through chemotherapy and radiation, it never crossed my mind that I could die."

The film producer disclosed in 2019 that he goes for check-ups every six months, adding he hopes that he has beat the disease. He shared that although cancer made him "emotionally fragile," he became a "free man."
