Inside Rocky Parker and Dempsey's Marriage
Rocky Parker and Dempsey's union garnered significant media attention during the late 1980s and early 1990s mainly because of their wide age gap. The two tied the knot when Parker was 47 years old while Dempsey was 21.
Parker, who was 26 years older than Dempsey, served as both his manager and acting coach. Despite concerns about their age difference at the time, the former couple appeared unbothered.
They tied the knot in 1999 in an intimate wedding ceremony at Dempsey's family's farmhouse in Maine and have since welcomed three children.

Although their marriage ended in divorce in 1993 after a few years, Dempsey expressed that he gained valuable lessons from his union with Parker. "I got a lot out of it; it made me a much better man," he said.
Despite being married for a few years, Parker and Dempsey's relationship faced many challenges. As their relationship deteriorated, so did Dempsey's status in the entertainment industry. The actor remarked that at the time, he was not on the hot list anymore, partly because of some box office failures.
