Proud Grandpa Magic Johnson Shares Snap of Teen Granddaughter Who Dressed Up as the NBA Legend

Forbes recently named Magic Johnson the first billionaire athlete, but he chose to commemorate something else on his Instagram page: his grandchildren's Halloween costumes.

Although Johnson recently achieved greatness by becoming a billionaire, instead of boasting about his achievement on social media, he dedicated the space to his grandchildren.

How Did Johnson's Grandchildren Dress Up?

Johnson posted a photo carousel containing two photos, one of his granddaughter and the other of his grandson and a friend. He captioned the post, "Check out my grandkids for Halloween!"

One of his granddaughters wanted to dress up as him, so she donned a Lakers kit and paired it with Air Jordans. She posed for a picture in her grandfather's signature pose from his NBA days. He gushed:

"My granddaughter wanted to dress up as pop pop this year, and she did a heck of a job! My grandson is very cool and dressed up as Ice Spice haha! We thank God everyday my son Andre and his wife Lisa blessed us with both of them!"

Johnson's daughter-in-law, Lisa, also shared photos of her family's dress up. She shared that although they didn't get a picture altogether, they didn't disappoint with their Halloween outfits. She and her husband dressed up as an '80s Valley girl and Nipsey Hussle, respectively.

Johnson As A Grandfather

Johnson takes immense pride in being a grandfather and often shares updates about his grandchildren on social media, like when he and his wife visited their granddaughter's school after she was named Star of the Week.

If they're not celebrating special occasions like Mother's Day or birthdays together, Johnson and his wife are happy to have their children around them on vacation. What a lovely family!
