Katianna Stoermer Coleman Is One of Zendaya's Four Older Half-Siblings

Zendaya has been a regular on the Hollywood acting scene for years, and according to her mother, the actress's older half-siblings — including her half-sister Katianna Stoermer Coleman — have helped keep her grounded.

Zendaya has made a name for herself as a successful actress and revealed alongside having her parents as role models, she's come to learn about the importance of family. The actress comes from a large family filled with older half-siblings and nieces and nephews.

Katianna Stoermer Coleman is commonly known for being one of Zendaya's older half-sisters. Despite her half-sister's fame, Katianna Stoermer Coleman has led a life out of the public eye. However, Zendaya's mother revealed that Katianna Stoermer Coleman and her siblings have done well to keep Zendaya grounded over the years.

Katianna Stoermer Coleman Comes from a Large, 'Grounded' Family

During a Q and A session, Zendaya revealed she has four older step-siblings. The actress has two older half-brothers and two older half-sisters who have all steered clear of the limelight despite their younger half-sister's success.

However, that has not stopped Katianna and her siblings from being there for Zendaya, as the actress's mother, Claire Stoermer, humorously shared that Zendaya's older half-siblings would have no problem sitting the actress down if she ever got a big head. Clair said:

"She has older brothers and sisters, and they are completely in her life and would check her if she ever gets a big head. They would be like, 'Are you kidding me? Sit down.' [...] She's really close with her brothers and sisters."

Katianna comes from a large family, which her sister proved with a snap of all her loved ones in 2016. "Coleman Family...the people I do it for, my motivation, my support, my everything," Katianna's sister captioned the post.

Zendaya added her mother was the only one missing and that the rest of the family didn't "do Instagram." In 2015, she shared the same sentiment as her mom and revealed, "Having such a big grounded family, I realized as you get older how important that is."

Katianna Stoermer Coleman and Her Siblings Have Made Zendaya an Aunt

Katianna's famous half-sister revealed that her older siblings have all welcomed children, making Zendaya an aunt. In addition to sharing that her parents are her role models, Zendaya also said she looked up to her big sister.

While it remains unclear who Zendaya was talking about, between Katianna and her other older half-sister, the actress said, "I look up to my big sister and realize the influence she's had on me and making me a better person."

Katianna Stoermer Coleman's Father's Marriage to Zendaya's Mother Ended In Divorce

After welcoming Katianna and her siblings, her father, Kazemebe Ajamu Coleman, married Zendaya's mom. However, in 2016, reports revealed Clair had filed for divorce after eight years of marriage.

Katianna's sister later set the record on the state of her parents' relationship and tweeted, "My parents ain't been together for a long time, y'all didn't know cause we private + they still homies."

It was not the first time Katianna's sister publically came to their father and her mother's defense, as in 2015, Zendaya protected her mom and dad from internet users who criticized their looks.

The "Euphoria" star typed in part, "While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world [...]."
