‘Superman’ Christopher Reeve’s Son, Will, Reacts to Comparisons to His Late Look-Alike Dad
Despite making a name for himself as a news anchor, Christopher Reeve's son Will can't avoid people's remarks comparing him to his dad. The younger Reeve admits he takes these comments as compliments most of the time.
Will Reeve grew up under the spotlight thanks to his famous dad, Christopher Reeve, who was best known for his role as "Superman." He acknowledges the privileged life he's been able to live due to his parents' hard work.
Aside from being a movie star, Christopher was heavily involved in philanthropic work alongside his wife, Dana Reeve. Will, their youngest son, is a board member of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, hoping to live out his parents' legacies.
In a recent benefit for the foundation called "An Eve with Reeve," Will admitted that he's glad people remember his parents in a good light, especially when they note the resemblance between the father and son duo.
"I think that I had two beautiful parents, inside and out, and if I bear any resemblance to them physically, or temperamentally, or in my values, then I take that as a compliment every day."
Will chose to be in the media rather than the movie industry like his father. He is currently a correspondent at ABC News and was previously a commentator for ESPN.
Fans of the Reeve family can catch Will on ABC News' Good Morning America. He previously shared a touching tribute to his late dad on the show, remembering their fond memories together.
