Besides her success in the entertainment industry, Chanel West Coast is fully embracing parenthood. But before she entered this new chapter in life, she faced a rumor that questioned her real sexuality.

What made the situation even more perplexing was that many internet users believed this rumor, claiming that she had once been a boy, all based on a photo of a child actor who bore a resemblance to her.

Where Chanel West Coast's Rumors Started

According to Snopes, the rumor originated in a 2015 X post titled "Transformation Tuesdays," featuring photos of Chanel West Coast and a young Lee Norris. Interestingly, a similar post with the same images was already circulating in 2014.

X users couldn't ignore the resemblance between Chanel and Lee. They noted the similarities, with some finding it "trippy" and one user convinced they looked like each other, while another discovered their resemblance surreal.

In 2016, Chanel addressed the false information linking her to "Minkus" and also refuted claims on websites suggesting she was transgender. She made it clear that she is not transgender.

Minkus, whose first name is Stuart, was the character Lee portrayed in the 1993-2000 series "Boy Meets World." His role is known for his nerdy appearance, complete with round glasses.

Most people were unaware that Lee was still alive, she said, and some incorrectly believed he had transitioned into her as she continued:

"I am a girl; I was born a female. So many kids, they think that it's actually real; it's not real; it's a joke."
