Old Man Isn't Allowed inside the Club — Story of the Day

Liam and Owen are two bouncers in an elite club. One day, an elderly man tries to enter, but they maltreat him. Their boss doesn't want 'such a person' in the club, and even the bartender poisons him. The man's hidden identity is revealed, but it might be too late for them, including their boss.

"Identification," Liam, one of the club bouncers, softly asked with a rare smile on his face.

Standing in front of him in the queue was a young woman he couldn't stop staring at.

He held her card in his hands, but his focus was centered more on the black gown she had on.

Owen, his partner, was older and had worked even longer at the club as a bouncer, and seemed less affected as he watched Liam check her card before letting her in.

"I checked the card well," Liam said, feeling Owen's steady gaze on him as they waited for the next person in the queue to step forward.

"Yeah, I'm sure you did," Owen responded to Liam in a sarcastic tone, grabbing the card extended to him.

He was just about to look at it when he froze the second he shifted his gaze to the man before him.

"Is this a joke?" Owen instantly asked, thinking the man somehow made a mistake.

It was the only explanation for why someone like him would come to such an elite club like theirs.

The man in front of him wore ordinary clothes with a gray mass of hair on his head and a cane on his left hand.

Deep wrinkles lined the corners of his face, and Owen was sure the man was in his seventies, if not older.

"Hey! Old man! Get out of the line. This is a club. It's not my fault if you have memory problems and forgot your way home," Liam said before Owen could say more.

"Move while I'm still asking nicely!" Liam warned, stepping closer to the older man in an intimidating manner, annoyed to see that the man didn't consider him a threat.

"Robert, That's your name?" Owen asked after scanning the card in his hands.

The man was old, and Owen felt they needed a gentler approach.

"You do know that this is a nightclub, right? You're too old to be coming to places like this," Owen gently told him.

"One push and you'll be on your way to the hospital. We're only looking out for you," Owen continued, even if he knew that all he said wasn't particularly true.

The main reason he wanted him gone was that allowing such a man into the club would only piss off their young boss, who disliked anything that looked uncool.

"You better leave and stop holding up the line if you know what's good for you," Liam harshly shouted, completely ignoring the curious stares from the others in the queue.

The second he was done speaking, Owen expected Robert to agree to leave, only to be surprised to see the man stubbornly refuse.

"I'm a paying customer. There's no reason why I should leave, and I refuse to leave," Robert said with a determined expression.

One that made it clear that he would only leave if he was carried and tossed out. Something they couldn't do since it would completely ruin the club's reputation.

"This!" Liam hissed, about to take a step closer to him, when Owen blocked him with his arm, glaring at him to stand down.

One look around, and he instantly understood that there was no way violence could be used with so many eyes around them.

The line was getting longer, and they couldn't hold for much longer, and he knew it.

"Look, we're only accepting VIP customers at this moment. If you can't pay for a table, leave," Owen said with a serious expression on his face.

"What?" Robert asked, shocked to hear what they just told him.

Standing beside Owen, Liam smiled and nodded in agreement, impressed by how quickly Owen came up with a great reason to send him off.

They could choose who they wanted to allow in at any moment, and if the man couldn't follow the new rules, he would have to leave.

"Okay," Robert instantly responded to the shock of the two security men as he typed quickly on his phone.

After typing, he turned his phone screen to allow them to see the big reservation he made.

He was only one person but had gotten a table for five people.

"Is there any other reason why I can't enter?" Robert impatiently asked, watching the older security man slowly shake his head while the younger one was seconds away, exploding in anger.

Liam was pissed and didn't care that the man had been able to pay for a VIP table.

He was just about to yell and try to scare him off again when he unexpectedly heard the people from behind start to complain.

"Just let the man in!"

"How much longer are we going to have to wait?"

"He already paid, right? What else matters?"

After receiving his card, he gave each of them a polite nod before stepping in with a pleased look.

Liam and Owen weren't happy, but there was nothing they could do.

The man's clothes were clean but ordinary, and the last thing they expected was for him to pay for a VIP table that was three times their monthly salary.

"Are we willing to let him go like that?" Liam whispered in Owen's ears, annoyed to see Owen nod.

"There's a crowd here. We'll talk about it more when the queue is reduced," Owen responded, focusing on the next person.

The man's presence was a problem, but getting as many people inside before their boss arrived was also a big issue.

Both of them worked fast but not fast enough. At the least expected time, they heard the voice of Alex, their boss.

"Hey Susan, you don't have to wait in line; you can just follow me in," he said as he walked straight to the club entrance.

Liam and Owen instantly glanced at each other, realizing there was no way to sweep the situation under the rug.

"Liam, Owen, what's with the queue? What's the holdup?" Alex asked the second he got to where they were.

He looked highly impatient and arrogant as he stared them down in a way they were both familiar with.

With their boss's impulsive behavior, they both knew that a wrong word was all it would take for them to lose their jobs.

"Boss, it was a minor issue—" Liam began sending a look at Owen, who also started talking at the same time.

"Boss, It was just an old man that was trying to stir up trouble," Owen explained, having spent more time working at the club to know that Alex hated vague answers the most.

Moreover, he was bound to find out the second he stepped into the club, considering the amount of people who had witnessed the event.

"Oh, an old man? Most likely a passing bum, then. I'm sure you sent him away, right?" Alex asked, pulling Susan, the girl he had called out of the queue, closer to his side.

Only to be very surprised to see the anxious way the security men refused to look him in the eyes and give him the answer he expected to hear.

"You did, right?" His tone was much louder than the one he used before.

"Boss, we tried, but—" Owen replied, stopping halfway and trying to communicate that he couldn't with so many people around.

"I don't care what the both of you do," Alex said, whispering in a low tone as he stepped closer to them.

"Get rid of that man within the hour," Alex told them, not trying to hide his anger at the thought that a bum was lingering around his club.

What's the use of having the both of you by the door if something like this happens?

They instantly understood what Alex was trying to say from his expression alone without being told.

They quickly nodded to assure him they would do exactly as he requested.

Alex didn't want to spend an extra second by the door as he grabbed Susan's hand, about to walk away only to turn around and speak to them for the last time.

"Also, watch out for my dad. He'll visit tonight, and I expect you guys to treat him well. Absolutely nothing must go wrong," Alex ordered.

Liam and Owen firmly nodded their heads to show that they understood and would do exactly what he asked.

Alex knew they didn't know exactly how his father looked, but he figured they'd be able to figure it out the second they saw how well-dressed he was with his gold cane in his hand.

His father was wealthy and had handed the club over to him. With all the money he could earn from it, Alex knew he had to treat his father well.

A little more, and I can start building another club in a different part of the city, Alex thought, looking around the club, proud of how well he had maintained it.

The moment Alex was gone, Owen was the first to excuse himself.

"Take care of things for a while; I'll be back. You can ask John for help," Owen told Liam as he turned around to leave, but Liam instantly moved to block him.

"You're going to chase that old man. I can do it instead," Liam offered, annoyed to hear his offer be instantly rejected by Owen, who moved to avoid him.

"Stay here. I'll be back," Owen ordered. Although they worked together, Owen's rank was much higher than Liam's.

Liam watching Owen leave only made him angrier than before as he realized that by chasing the old man away, he would successfully earn Alex's favor.

Does this not mean that I'll forever be under him? Liam thought, trying to keep his anger in as he focused on doing his job.

Robert, once inside, slowly began to enjoy himself, glad to see that none of the people inside treated him as badly as the club security did.

The music wasn't too loud, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Steady on his feet, with his trusty cane in his hand, he moved closer to the dance floor. He was just about to show a few moves from his younger days when he suddenly saw a vast shadow hovering behind him.

He took one look behind him, and he couldn't help but sigh a little in annoyance.

"What do you want?" Robert snappishly asked, wanting the security man gone that very instant.

The second he appeared behind him, everyone instantly distanced themselves from him like he was trouble.

"I'm just here to make sure that you don't fall. With such aged bones, the consequences will be dire," Owen told him in the most serious tone he could muster.

He needed to get rid of him, and the first way he could think of was trying to convince him to leave.

"You're old; you have no business being here, and you know it. If you're bored, you can try visiting the park tomorrow morning," Owen said, speaking as frankly as he could.

"If you fall from exhaustion or something else, it will ruin everyone's" mood and give the club a bad reputation."

Owen still had much more to say, but Robert stopped him before he could continue.

"I don't care! I'm only here to relax for a while. Once I'm done, I'll leave, but not before I'm ready," Robert told him, brushing past him.

He only wanted to put as much space between himself and Owen.

"Owen, right?" Robert asked, staring at the name tag on his shirt when he turned around to see that he was still being followed.

"What exactly is your problem?" His tone was much louder than before.

It was apparent that the security intended to cut his stay at the club short.

"My problem is you. You are my problem," Owen responded, meaning every word.

If the man did as he asked, he would be at his post doing his job, not trying to chase a stubborn man out of the building.

"Then I feel sorry for you because I'm not going anywhere," Robert told him as he walked away.

His footsteps were a little hurried as he walked away from the dance floor and made his way to the bar counter to get a drink.

The bartender was a young fellow with an amiable face who instantly greeted Robert when he saw him approach the counter.

"What kind of drink would you like me to get for you, sir?" He asked in a very polite tone that Robert was impressed with.

"I want something very light," Robert responded with a smile, looking back to see that he was no longer being followed.

"But give me a few minutes; I have to use the toilet first," Robert told the bartender before excusing himself.

He hoped that Owen wouldn't continue chasing him if he couldn't see any traces of him for a while.

But unknown to him, Owen was not only watching him from afar but also trying to devise a new plan.

The old one of scaring Robert away hadn't worked, so Owen's next plan was to force him to leave.

Owen knew that Alex would soon come down, and by then, he had to get rid of the man somehow.

The second he saw Robert walk away from the counter and head towards the restrooms, Owen instantly moved forward to talk to Jax, the bartender.

“I need you to put something strong into that man's drink. Strong enough to make him faint in seconds."

At that point, Owen no longer cared.

He had tried convincing the old guy, but after being rejected, he was ready to hurt him if it meant getting him out of the building.

"Are you serious, Owen? That man is like, what sixty-seventy? What if he gets a heart attack?" Jax anxiously responded in a low tone, looking around to ensure he wasn't heard.

"I don't care! The boss ordered us to get him out, and that's what I'm doing."

"If he dies, I'm the one that's going to be out of this bar and thrown into prison," Jax replied, shaking his head firmly.

"I'm not going to do it. If you want to throw him out, find another way," Jax insisted, ignoring Owen, who stood before him.

He started mixing drinks to show his unwillingness to continue the conversation.

Jax was sure that Owen would continue disturbing him but was glad to see him back off and slowly walk away.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Jax had just shifted his focus entirely to his work when he heard a big bang followed by the sound of loud footsteps close to him.

Even before he looked up to see who it was, Jax knew it was Owen.

"What do you think you're doing? You're not —"Jax began to tell him, glaring at him.

Owen wasn't his boss and wasn't required to follow any order he received from him.

Jax's tone was sharp, and he was still speaking to Owen when he suddenly had a rugged grip on his collar, preventing him from continuing.

"What—"he tried to say, heavily glaring at Owen, who was at least a foot taller than him.

But again, before he could speak, Owen's grip around his neck tightened even more.

"I'm not your boss, but don't for a second think you can disrespect me," Owen threatened him in a low voice.

The club was dark enough that his grip on Jax's neck was completely hidden.

Before grabbing onto Jax's collar, he had also turned in a way that shielded Jax from people's view as he threatened him.

"Don't think you can do as you like while stealing bottles from the club. What? You thought I didn't know," his voice was low as he slowly released his grip on his shirt.

Owen patted both his shoulders and continued speaking with a smile.

"Do as I tell you, and you won't have to worry about getting fired tonight," Owen said, leaving the second he got a nod of agreement from Jax.

He didn't doubt that Jax would do as he asked, considering how hard it would be for him to get another job after being fired for such a terrible reason.

Owen was right about Jax.

I better start mixing the drink before the old man gets here, Jax decided as he again focused on his work, sliding a few pills out of his pocket at the same time.

Meanwhile, Liam stood outside the club by the entrance with a bored expression.

In front of him was John, who attended to people trying to come in. Somehow, he seemed okay with doing the job of two people as Liam stood by the side doing nothing.

Liam's thoughts were focused more on why Owen wasn't back.

That old man hasn't come out either, Liam thought with a smile, wondering if Owen was having problems getting the man out of the club.

It's good if he can't, Liam decided, realizing that If Owen was unable to, then he probably had a chance to impress Alex if he did.

Maybe I can even get a promotion, he wondered, as he occasionally glanced into the club.

Minutes went by with no news, and by then, Liam was done waiting by the door. He had given up trying to hold back his curiosity and was ready to head in.

"John, give me a few minutes. I'll be back," he told John, leaving the second he was done speaking.

John, who was busy attending to the people in front of him, heard Liam's voice and was just about to respond when he looked back to see him gone.

Liam entered the club, moving as fast as he could, trying to find the old man.

He looked around, and just as he wondered if somehow Owen had been able to get rid of him without his knowledge, he saw him step out of the restroom corridor.

"Bingo!" He smirked, watching him head straight to the bar.

Liam was even more excited to see Owen standing a few steps away from him, watching him without trying to do anything else.

"Owen is still too soft," Liam sighed, turning around to look for someone he had spotted a second ago.

Liam was satisfied to see his eyes land on the person he was looking for and even more excited to catch him doing something he wasn't supposed to do.

Liam patiently waited a few minutes for the person he was talking to to leave before yelling his name from behind.

"Xander, catching you red-handed is getting easier nowadays," Liam said, his eyes on the young woman who hurried off with a white packet.

"Is that even safe?" Liam asked, not curious and simply trying to converse a little before threatening him.

"As good as it can be," Xander replied, shrugging his huge and muscular shoulders covered in heavy tattoos that showed how much of a thug he was.

He had various scars on his face but extremely shrewd eyes.

Seeing Liam suddenly appear in front of him and not chase him out of the club meant he needed something from him.

"What do you want Liam? If it's something I can't do, I'll leave. I don't do dangerous things anymore. I'm just trying to make a living."

"Good! Then you won't mind starting a fight with that old man by the bar."

"What? You want me to fight that man?" Xander asked, turning his head and lifting his gaze to see the old man Liam was pointing to at the counter.

He spotted the van hanging by his side, and Xander instantly sent a nasty look at Liam.

"I can't believe you can't take care of something so simple yourself," he goaded him, but Liam didn't care.

"Just go there and start a fight with him. I'll break it up and send him out of the building for disturbing the peace. Easy, right?" Liam told him, annoyed to see the reluctant look on Xander's face.

"I didn't ask you to break his bones, just argue with him! Or maybe your livelihood is not as important as harassing a stranger you don't know," Liam said.

With a light shrug of his shoulders, Liam turned around, making it clear that he was about to leave.

"Fine! Get out of the club and never come back; I'll find someone else," Liam ordered, already stepping away.

He had only taken one step when he heard Xander hurriedly call him back.

"It's fine! I'll do it," Liam heard him say, and he couldn't help but smile, masking his expression into a blank one by the time he turned towards Xander.

"I won't get into trouble, right?"

"You won't. Hurry! I'll be waiting," Liam ordered, satisfied to see Xander nod and slowly walk toward the bar.

If all goes well, then I'll be able to get on the boss's good side, Liam thought impatiently, waiting for the exact time he would have to jump in.

Robert sat by the counter, satisfied to see how competent the bartender seemed as he mixed his drink and how quickly he did it.

He had barely been back for a few seconds when he watched the bartender smoothly place his drink before him.

"Are you sure this is my order? I asked for something light," Robert asked, eyeing the glass the bartender passed him with a suspicious look.

His drink was pale blue, but what worried him was the heavy foam that formed at the top of it and slowly overflowed out of the glass.

"Yes, this is your order. I can promise you that this drink is very light," Jax replied, lying through his teeth with a professional smile.

"It's the club's specialty. Older men just like you tend to prefer this particular cocktail."

Jax may have cleverly spiked the drink, but he also had to make sure the man drank it.

Even if he asks for another one, I can make a new one and spike it again, Jax decided, seeing how reluctant the man was to touch the drink.

A few seconds of silence passed, and just when Jax was convinced that the man wouldn't touch the drink, he watched him reach out to take it.

Finally! Jax thought, watching him lift the glass to his lips to take a sip.

With how much he had poured into it, he was sure that a single gulp was more than enough to do the deed.

"Any second now," Jax mumbled under his breath, lowering his gaze with his focus still centered on the old man before him.

Jax waited to hear Robert gulp down his drink, but to Jax's annoyance, he never did.

"Hey, you're sitting in my seat!" A hefty muscular man suddenly appeared, yelling beside Robert, who instantly put down his drink, shocked at the sudden confrontation.

"Are you deaf? You're sitting in my seat?" The man yelled again, and from the violent look in his eyes, arguing with him was the last thing Robert wanted to do.

"I'm sorry," he quickly apologized and got off the stool he had been sitting on, taking his drink with him as he moved to the next one.

Robert didn't even look at him as he settled on his new seat, raising his drink to his lips to take a sip to calm his nerves.

He had just raised the glass for the second time only to drop it, shocked to hear a louder shout from beside him from the same person.

"That seat also belongs to me."

"Wha-what?" Robert exclaimed, stuttering a little as it quickly became evident that the man was trying to pick a fight with him.

What the hell is wrong with this man? Jax wondered, beyond annoyed at the hefty man's interruption that kept on hindering his plans.

"Sir—"Jax opened his mouth to try to intervene, only to shut it the very next second, frightened by the look the thug sent his way.

Instantly, he knew not to try and intervene if he didn't want to get hurt.

Jax's eyes quickly scanned for Owen, annoyed not to see him but delighted to spot Liam standing not too far away.

Jax was just about to raise his hand and try to send a signal to Liam. But Jax noticed that Liam was already looking in their direction, and it was apparent that he had no intention of stopping the thug.

"I won't repeat myself! This is also my seat; get off," Xander threatened, pushing the old man a little by his shoulders, a little surprised to watch him almost fall and hit the floor that very second.

Not wanting to be assaulted more than he already was, Robert got off the seat with his cane in his hand, prepared to leave the bar altogether.

Right after, he stretched his hand to grab his drink and take it with him when he suddenly watched the big hefty man grab it before he could.

"What are you doing?" Robert asked in a calm tone that showed how annoyed he was.

"This cocktail is also mine," Xander proudly announced, lifting the drink to his mouth and gulping it down with a broad smile.

If I'm going to harass you for free, then I might as well get some benefits before you're carried out of the building, Xander thought as he gulped down the contents of the glass.

"It tastes a little weird, but it's not bad," Xander commented as he faced Robert and dropped the empty glass on the table.

He was just about to continue harassing the man before Liam's arrival when he suddenly felt tremendous pressure in his head.

His vision blurred, and the next thing he knew, he felt himself crashing painfully to the floor.

Robert was horrified to see the person in front of him, who had been entirely healthy, suddenly crash to the floor.

He was sure the reason the thug was on the ground was the drink he had just guzzled down.

Robert instantly turned to look at the bartender. He could immediately spot the guilt underneath the confused expression he had on his face.

Jax did his best to appear innocent, but it was pretty clear he was the culprit since he made the drink and had access to it.

Yet, as he felt Robert's gaze on his face, Jax was ready to blame anyone else to protect himself and his job.

"He was probably drunk. Maybe that's why he was acting that way towards you," Jax managed to say, anxiously running his hands through his hair as he desperately waited for Owen to arrive.

It was impossible for the people around not to notice a huge man suddenly tumble to the ground, and slowly, a slight commotion started.

People were curious to know what happened, and Owen, who was already on his way back, also noticed.

He had been waiting for the outcome of his plan when he spotted a man leading a young woman out through the side door.

They were a little understaffed with the number of people at the club, and Owen knew there would be no one there if the doors were open.

He quickly ran after them and managed to get the woman back. He handed her over to someone he knew before running back to the bar, expecting to see an older man on the ground waiting to be carried.

The last thing he expected to see was a familiar thug lying on the ground, completely unconscious.

Quickly, he maneuvered past the mass of people crowded around the area.

"What's happening here?" Owen yelled the second he got there, surprised to see Liam, who he expected to be at his post.

"Liam, what are you doing here?" Owen asked, looking at the proud look on Liam's face as he forcefully held onto the man's arms.

"Same as you. This man caused a disturbance, and I'm simply getting rid of him. He was arguing with the man when he suddenly fell unconscious," Liam proudly announced, and Owen was tempted to cover his face with both hands in shame.

Yes, they had been ordered to get rid of the man, but not in such a stupid way.

How could this older man possibly have made such a muscular man unconscious?

"I caught him red-handed. He kicked the man and hit him with his cane," Liam continued, adding some lies when he noticed that people around were looking weirdly at him.

"I'll escort him outside, and you can help pick this man off the ground," Liam told Owen, who instantly shook his head.

The fact that Liam was there, insisting on escorting the man outside, meant he was the reason his plans went south in the first place.

"You sent this thug here, didn't you?" Owen whispered to Liam, grabbing his hand to stop him from going anywhere.

If Owen allowed him to leave and carried the thug out, the dire situation would instantly be blamed on him, and he might even get fired.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Liam responded with a deep frown, shrugging off Owen's tight grip.

Robert stood behind them and felt Liam's tight grip on his arm start to hurt.

Also, the fact that the two men in front of him were on the edge of getting into a fight made him want to distance himself from them even more.

"Hey, can you let go of my hand?" Robert politely asked, only to get yelled at by two people at the same time.

"Shut up, old man!"

"Keep quiet and stay out of this! I order you to let him go and clean this mess up. When Xander wakes up, you know he'll snitch on you," Owen loudly and angrily told Liam.

Liam, on the other hand, didn't seem to care as he shrugged and continued to hold on to the man with a proud look on his face.

"How exactly will he snitch on me if you're fired?" Liam responded in a low tone that only Owen could hear.

Owen instantly clenched his fists seconds away from using it on Liam's face.

Alex had been relaxing upstairs in the VIP lounge with Susan when his attention was drawn to a commotion downstairs.

The club was usually more packed with people on Fridays than other days. At first, Alex thought nothing more of it until Susan drew his attention to the commotion.

She had just gotten up to dance to the music when she stopped, a concerned expression flashing across her face as she pointed downstairs.

"Alex, I think something's going on," She softly told Alex, who had just poured himself another drink.

Instantly, he got to his feet and turned to look in the exact direction she was staring at.

Alex was instantly infuriated at the sight before him.

It was too far to see well with the dim lights, but he could tell that Liam and Owen were in the center of whatever seemed to be happening.

Alex had a nasty temper, and as he flew downstairs, he felt himself boiling with rage.

The music was still playing, but instead of having fun, the people's attention was directed to a huge fight that shouldn't be happening in his club.

Alex only got more irritated on getting closer to where the trouble was to see Liam and Owen, the two main bouncers in charge of the entrance, arguing heavily among themselves.

Alex instantly ran forward, trying to stop them that very second.

With eyes burning red and slightly intoxicated from the drinks he had taken. Alex had no plans of taking it easy on them.

"Liam! Owen! Do both of you think this is a circus?" he yelled, getting in between them.

Alex was furious, and he didn't try to hide it.

"You had one job: to secure the entrance and get rid of the smelly old man you allowed in. What is this disturbance!"

"Boss, I was about to do that when Owen stopped me."

"Boss, Liam should be watching the gate for your father's arrival, but instead, he's running around with thugs," Owen fired back, and Alex had had enough.

"Shut up! Both of you! I guess I'll have to do this myself," Alex loudly grumbled, turning his gaze towards the old man standing behind Liam with his back towards him.

"Hey, Old man! Get out now while I'm still—" but he didn't get to finish his words when he suddenly froze on the spot.

"Dad!" Alex yelled, a genuine expression of shock as he looked down at the clothes his dad had on.

He was a billionaire, and seeing him in such clothes shocked him even more, but Liam and Owen were twice as shocked.

Even Jax, who stood behind the counter, was just as stunned.

He had been silently watching everything that was going on, with hopes that his role in everything would be forgotten, only to realize that he was about to lose his job.

"Dad, I didn't know you were around."

"I came a little earlier to look around, and I guess I've seen enough. Especially since old men are not allowed in the club I own," Robert sighed, shifting his gaze to Liam and Owen, who could not raise their heads and meet his eye.

"Dad, that's not what I meant. I-I can explain."

"This club is falling apart, and you can't even tell. You have ill-mannered security guards, a corrupt bartender, and a weak manager with no financial sense."

"Father!" Alex begged, knowing that as the only manager of the club, his father was referring to him.

"I was wrong to hand over everything to you. There are a lot of lessons you still need to learn. The last thing you should do is turn away a paying customer, even if it was the devil himself."

"Dad! I promise I'll do better," Alex begged, but Robert grabbed his cane to show he was about to leave.

"Tomorrow morning, I'll have a meeting with you and your crew," Robert said, glancing back at the trembling bartender, satisfied to see how scared he was.

You should be scared, Robert thought, knowing that if the thug hadn't grabbed the drink from his hand, he would be the one lying unconscious on the ground.

He only wanted to look around a little before heading up to see his son and didn't expect to be mistreated in such a way.

From that moment on, Robert decided to teach his son and his whole crew a lesson they wouldn't forget for the rest of their lives.
