Media mogul, businesswoman, and pop culture icon Paris Hilton, 42, has worn many hats during the trajectory of her career and personal life. She is also the loving wife to entrepreneur Carter Reum, 42.

The two married two years ago, but their history goes back over ten years. Reum met his beloved at one of her house parties.

According to Hilton, the two had been friends first and only got romantically involved when they reconnected in 2019 during Thanksgiving. It was all about timing for the couple, as Hilton recalled not being ready for the charming and good-natured person Reum is initially:

"I wasn't ready for a nice guy yet."

But Reum stood the test of time, and now the duo are inseparable. Soon enough, the couple were able to extend their family when their first child was born, with Hilton revealing how they came up with their offspring's name.

When Did Hilton and Reum Welcome Their First Child?

The lovebirds then started a family when they welcomed their son, Phoenix, in January 2023. Embarking on the journey of motherhood was something Hilton had always desired:

"It's always been my dream to be a mother... We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

Naturally, as someone who has always wanted to become a mother, Hilton is very pedantic and particular about anything and everything about her son. His name is one such thing that she spent a fair amount of time choosing. Explaining why she decided to give their son the name he has, the "This Is Paris" star revealed:

"Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more important, it's the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again."

The businesswoman also shared on her Instagram post how she wants Phoenix to grow up aware that winning and facing disasters is part of life and that they should give "us great hope for the future." In February, Hilton released an episode of her podcast in which she spoke about why they chose to keep everything related to their baby boy private.

The star explained that as someone whose entire life has been subject to the spotlight and public scrutiny, therefore she just wanted a little piece of her personal life to herself when Phoenix arrived. Thus, she and Reum decided not to disclose information about his birth right away, not even to their family! Speaking about their private nature concerning Phoenix, Hilton disclosed:

"I just really felt that I wanted to have this journey be us only. Of course, it was hard to keep that in cause we were so excited...but we were just nervous cause if you tell one person, then, you know, they tell someone, and then all of a sudden it's like in Tmz or Page Six."

Nonetheless, the couple is over the moon about their baby boy, and Hilton has reiterated how blessed they feel and how complete she is. She also gushed about what a perfect partner Reum is and called him an incredible dad. Soon enough, she and her husband became parents to two children!

Hilton Announced the Arrival of Her and Reum's Second Baby

The mama bear recently announced exciting news: she and Reum have welcomed their second baby, ten months after Phoenix was born! Hilton took to her social media to post a picture of an adorable pink outfit, mini sunglasses, and a teddy bear and expressed her gratitude for her baby girl's arrival:

"My princess has arrived!!..."

The outfit in the picture she posted also revealed what the name of their daughter is: London. According to baby London's mother, her name had already been decided upon years ago and bears sentimental significance:

"The girl is going to be named London Marilyn Hilton Reum. Marilyn after my grandmother and London cause it's my favorite city, and I just think Paris and London sound cute together."

As far as her choice to welcome children via surrogacy, the mother of two explained the decision. She said it partly stems from the fact that she still has some fear surrounding all the trauma she endured as a child when she was sent to Provo Canyon School.

Reum's wife also cited her time on "The Simple Life," when she once had to be in a room to witness a woman giving birth, which traumatized her. As a result, she labeled childbirth and death as two of her biggest fears, hence the route of surrogacy to welcome her children.

Interestingly, Hilton said she pursued the option after her good friend Kim Kardashian gave her advice about the process. So London's mother had her eggs frozen in her late thirties. Although 20 of her frozen embryos all turned out to be boys, Hilton stayed hopeful for a baby girl.

Lo and behold, her wish was granted with the arrival of baby London. Since there aren't any images of the baby girl yet, some artificial intelligence (A.I.) photos have been released, showing what little London might look like.

What Might Hilton and Reum’s Daughter Look Like According to A.I.?

One picture showed what London would look like with Reum and Hilton's baby girl would look like as a one-year-old toddler. In the image, the child seemed to have the best features of her parents, including her mother's blond hair, a lighter shade of eyebrows, and blue eyes.
