On Wednesday night, at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York, fans gathered to celebrate with Chevy Chase, best known for his roles in classics from the 1980s to today. The event was centered around 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation,' a film that has brought laughter to countless homes.

However, in an unforeseen twist, Chevy took an unfortunate tumble off the stage. Though the fall initially caused concern among the attendees, Chevy quickly reassured everyone with his indomitable spirit. He reappeared on stage in a wheelchair, declaring himself fine, his signature humor intact.

A representative for Chevy later remarked, "He took a fall at the part of the stage that was not lit well, but thanks to all his falls on 'SNL,' it was like riding a bike again. Just a little boo-boo. All good." Although Chevy himself has not spoken publicly about the fall, he has reshared numerous videos of the event on social media.

His wife, a constant presence of support and love, was by his side throughout the ordeal. In a heartwarming gesture, she helped him reconfigure his watch when he returned to the stage post-fall, jokingly ensuring that it wouldn't summon an ambulance prematurely.

This isn't the first time Chevy has faced health challenges. Two years ago, he endured a near-fatal heart failure, leading to a five-week hospital stay. Upon returning home, he expressed profound joy in being surrounded by his family, a testament to the deep bonds he shares with them.

A year after his heart scare, Chevy spoke about his illness and recovery in an interview. True to form, he approached the topic with his renowned comedic flair, joking that they had removed his heart while he was in the hospital.
